Has not been out of the 20's in three weeks with it dipping into single digits at night. That does not include the wind chill.

4 days later we still have snow on the mountains and in the fields. Temp finally got up to
40 today. Cant remember a snow staying on the ground here that long. Our drive entrance
is a steep incline and tree covered. Still tricky to navigate as the ice/snow on it has not
melted yet. Tmps will be in the high 50s by Friday.

i don't care,,my mother and i will ride as long as we want..heck with the weather...she's tired sitting in front of the fireplace,,i need to take her out a little bit and have some fresh air,she isn't feeling well tho .

It's great to see you taking such good care of your mom but don't you think she's a little old for driving the scooter? Also, I didn't know you wore glasses.

Now turn your hat around the right way, put a helmet on and tell mom she needs a shave.

It was 41 here at 7 AM. High today of 50, 50 tomorrow and then back into the 30's next week.

They are in my prayers. We have a tornado season here in GA as well but
not that early in the year. Having been involved with two or three in the past
I find that if the wind hums I look for a hidie hole.

Birmingham has already had snow, has it not? They are predicting up to 5" in my area
on Monday, then3rd snow/ice storm in 4 weeks. Locks us in here on the hill top till
the somewhat vertical driveway thaws. This may be our worst winter in 50 years
if this keeps up. An warm day lately would be in the 50's. Much colder than average.

That's why the sad/angry faces on the top and bottom of the weather map, I've had enough for one (maybe five!) years! I'm sure it's the same in your southern area, everybody runs out the day before the predicted snow, buys all the bread and milk at the grocery stores, and hides inside. You folks up north would LYAO, a 1/2" of snow is as good as a foot for shutting everything down. I own my own business, it's not so fun when things grind to a halt. Rich

yeah, my bro in law wakes up 5 in the morning to go to work ,shovel the snow away from the driveway in a 21F weather, my goodness gracious,,just the thought of it kills me...really kills me....

oh but if i have a beautiful house like Rich's i won't mind living in a snowy icy places..gosh that's a nice house...

Rich, I thought you got snow in that last one. We had 3.5"!!! And the next great storm is
hitting us tomorrow evening after, I think, it hits you guys in AL.
That IS a nice house!!! See what you can buy by saving money riding a scoot or bike!!!!!
