I dont know about you guys but we are experiencing
record breaking low temps for the next week here,
15-20 degrees below normal. Highs will be in tghe 30s
lows in the low 20s/high teens. No riding for now!!!

About 4" by yesterday at 3:30. High in the low 20's. Got up this morning and just about everything is closed (except the college). They're calling for about 12" total by tomorrow with highs in the low 20's. Scooter has gone night-night until Spring.

Scooter has gone night-night until Spring.
You see what happens when you only have one. Once this snow stops falling and they've plowed I might ride one of the 50cc mopeds, if the salt's not too bad. I also have some road testing to do on the Lance. I finally installed the new CDI and fuel filter. It's in the basement now itching for a run.
Besides, it's a balmy 23.5 degrees right now and only a light snow is falling.

Yeah, we had snow flurries here all day yesterday. It is going to be in the teens for the next two nights. I'm snuggled up to a warm cup of coffee...

Had 6 1/2 inches of snow over the weekend. High of 16 today and down to 1 tonight. Scooter is put away until probably April of next year. Extended forecast says we could get several inches of snow on Thursday.

guys,guys,,pls count the days and the hours you spent inside the house because you cannot ride or do anything because of the weather....that is the time taken out from your life that you supposed to have enjoyed...... currently 84 here in yuma.....boy i have to get inside now and rest,,,,i've been riding the whole day  ......i'd say, living in AZ and Fl is life well spent...lol i just can't exhaust thinking WHY a person in his right mind would buy a house in places like Edmonton Canada where temp goes as low as -40F.... .....i can;t imagine myself staying inside the house for 24hrs in front of the TV munching some cheeze curls waiting for the sun to appear in the sky... oh lord.. ..lol just being naughty here!!! ;D |

Yeah we love it here in Florida. But today it only hit 52 which is too cold for this Florida native. I drove the car and the Scooter is inside with me keeping warm.

Honestly Luke,
The one positive thing about being inside is family time. I spend alot more time with my kids in the winter than in the summer. Friday night is game night and we play cards, checkers along with the Wii, so it is not all dismal doom and gloom. Now the wife on the other hand.....

Gee, now I am sorry I mentioned the weather!!! 8^( You Yankee boys make me grateful
that it is not any woprse here. 30 right now going to 19/20 by morning with a steady 15-20 mph wind. Cold enough for this old man!! My wife is in PA doing some survey work and if all
goes well will be flying home tomorrow afternoon. It was starting to snow when she got there
Sunday afternoon.
52 in FLwill freeze your butt ons off. I was partly raised down there so I know!!
Time to throw another dog on the bed and snuggle under the covers.
