46 this afternoon here so I made a post office run on my TGB DEl. 150. Nothing to it!!!
Just put on my riding shoes, canvas pants, sweat shirt, firemans head shield that covers
the face and neck, leather riding jacket, heavy leather riding gauntlets, and lastly the helmet.
managed to get astride the scoot which promptly stalled out because of the extra weight of
my riding outfit. Not a bad 15 mile ride once underway but lonely as there were no other
scoots or bikes on the road but me and the orderlies from the institution that were trying
to catch me!! (I hate cold weather!!!)

Yeah it got to near 50 today so I took a little ride while I could. Never know when I will get to again. It is supposed to rain tomorrow and start snowing Sunday.

Don't ever let those guys catch up to you, they're lousy tailors. The dinner jacket they tried to get me into was all screwed up. Sleeves went way down past my knees. The clasps were simply TACKY and hard to get to. I had to use my teeth.

I just got back from, (my only outing this week) yup, the Dinosaur. I had to force myself to eat (yeah, right!) a platter of ribs. Now it's time to kick back with a cold one and let it all settle. Don't even have the desire to wash the BBQ sauce from my face, just leave it for a late night snack. ;D

I told you already Luke, I'm not a fruit, don't want to end up a vegetable, and the ribs I ate today were PORK. They were sooo goooood POOOOOORRKKK! ;D ;D ;D

MC, been there, done that so to speak. Snake Doctor, That weather you are having upcoming
in TN is headed our way, should be here by Sunday and the second cold wave hits Monday-Wednesday. Enough with the weather already!!! (My best NYC accent!!!)

well i ate some grilled goat last weekend, i'd say it's more tastier than the pork,more tender and the taste of the real meat is there.,, kinda taste like elk., doesn't taste fishy,pork taste so classic now, i hate eating pork...wonder if they serve goat in dino resto?? maybe not,, i'm just guessing.

Well, we don't have as much snow as you guys in the northeast, but we've got some wonderful, CHILLY weather coming our way this weekend.
Saturday Night - 5 inches of snow
Sunday - High of18 degrees and 45 mph wind gusts, 2 more inches of snow
Sunday Night - Minus 2 degrees
Monday - High of 7 degrees and blustery
Monday Night - Minus 9 degrees (yep, below zero)
I want summer.

I'm just hoping that the Patriots can't keep their footing on the football field this Sunday and the Bears win again. That would make for a great weekend.

Wow - it's 38 degrees now and the stuff is melting. After a frigid week, I just finished the outside decorations. It's all going bad again starting tomorrow. The great news is, this is finals week coming up and I'm done for the term on Thursday! HOOORAY!

We're supposed to get clobbered about midnight. Going from rain, to freezing rain, to snow with wind. Can't wait.
Just got in from starting my generator to see if it will run ok. I'm pretty well self sufficient with just a little generator. It's loud but it does the job. When I fill the gas tank, it will only run for about 2 1/2 hours. I need to figure out how to get a bigger gas tank hook up. I hook up the well with one line and then I run another into the house for a circulating pump for the heat and another for the refrigerator.

Right now its raining like a cow peeing on a flat rock but the temp will drop as the night progresses changing to snow. Oh well, being retired I don't have to get out... ;D
