What I got was, ICE, ICE, ICE, AND MORE ICE. Then it snowed 4-5 inches on top of the ICE.
I really can't believe that my power didn't go out. Everyone elses power was out for a few hours. I had several branches break off because the ice was too heavy for them. It's a wonder that the trees themselves aren't falling. We're supposed to get wind gusts up to 40 miles an hour tonight. That will bring the branches down but I hope not across the power lines.
WHAT!!!! Planting seed already ?
The temp here is going to be around 0 tonight and going to be cold tomorrow and Friday.
And of course the GROUND HOG. I knew he'd see it my way and not see his shadow, I didn't see mine !!!!

i went to my backyard today and tried to dig on the ground hoping to see some of these groundhog and see if it's true,,,my wife was like"what are you doing"?....guess what,,i didn't find not even one hog,,,,,i saw some gophers running around my lawn ....but no G.hogs...i think this is just a myth...lol

Luke - they live in the East! There are cousins that live in the Rockies called "rockchucks".

I'm cursed. By the time I got out of my call at 8 last night, it was near blizzard conditions. That's a storm every Wed. night since mid-January.

so when i woke up this morning,this is the current temp in AZ....jizz,first time after 7 years living here....well i think it's not bad,i can endure the coldness.....the only difference i notice is that when i pee on our grass now,it's smoking!!...and before it's not..LOL ;D ;D ;D

What a bunch of liars those weathermen are. "Watch out", "Going to be a nasty storm", "1 - 2 feet", "Worst storm over the century"!
They closed the schools yesterday, half my coworkers stayed home, and everyone braced themselves for THE BIG ONE. All we got was a couple stinking inches of light powdery stuff. What a joke.

Next time you weather dorks threaten me with a storm you dang well better deliver!

Man I feel cheated. At this rate it might as well be SPRING.

I feel your pain guys and gals. I have 2-3 inches of ice underneath 5 inches of snow. A couple of days ago I was right in the middle of that Ice Storm you saw on the tube. Some storm that was. I didn't lose my power but a few towns around me had lights out for several hours.
Today we were only suposed to get a dusting of snow but we ended up with 5 inches. Now I need to know if some of you have any " CHEESE AND CRACKERS WITH THAT WINE "? Get over it, It's winter damn it, won't be over until the end of March or April............LOL'S Oh ! by the way, if you got cheese and crackers, I might scoot over and bring my own wine........

75f, no tsunamis or tropical monsoons but still the depths of winter. Rode to ace yesterday at 6.45am, was actually cold at 50mph before the sun way up (in shorts an t shirt).
It's really funny watching those that are used to the heat have the heaters on in their car (really) when it drop sunder 80f. I am sure they think the same when I have ac on whenever its above 80.
