I fired up my 1958 Lambretta 150 LD for the first time today. It has been sitting in the corner of my shop for the last 8 years and hasn't been driven for at least 20 years. I had to keep the choke on to keep it running, so some carburetor adjustments will be necessary. It took me down the road and back. No pushing was required.

Yeah, I think it is a smart to do one these little 1 cylinders...800 mile max on oil...good investment

So far today I have ridden 2 of mine and I may take the big one tonight if the weather permits. Its just stupid to take a bike or scooter out when you know it is going to rain when you have a car. Its been a while again since I have ridden the riva so I washed it up and aired up the tires and took it out. I may start riding it to my breakfast at the daily senior center lunch for a week or so. Its a brake pedal on the antiques and my foot seems a little heavy after not having ridden it in some time. john

installed some blue led blinking lights on my morphi-doodle!! 36bucks shyet!...preparing my scoot before the big scooter rally in San diego....so excited!!!
next week i will install 2 revolving video cameras on both side of the morph,to capture 360 degrees of scooter FUN!!!...
i ordered Kuryakyn cruise control from Amazon,it should be coming anytime next week.
will do the engine oil change and the gear oil change this saturday...can't wait to see those MP3s,burgmans,silverwings,Spyders,yellow reflexs,roketas,and all non yamaha scoots eat my dust!!!

Don't know about AZ but in AR you get caught with blinking blue lights you will get handcuffs and be talking to a judge. john

2 Day's ago I was cussing it cause flasher thingy wouldn't work Led's. Yesterday ordered flasher thingy for it. Today nothing cause of rain delay...

hey! saucy dragon! nice to pimp the scooter with that flasher huh. still waiting for my blue led flasher ,need to install it before the scooter rally in san diego.

i deleted my post because jct said that the police will handcuff me and i will be sent to the supreme court to talk to the judge... i was having some sleepless nights since he said that. i hope he was judge joking.

My Rowdy 150 and I left on Friday and rode from home to Maumee, OH to attend my granddaughters fastpitch softball tournament. She is a left handed catcher with a rocket arm and already as a junior in HS has been courted by several colleges and has a standing offer of a full ride at one.....She has been invited to two more colleges this next week for skills testing and to tour campuses. I am so happy for her because college costs so much and at least that part will be taken care of.

It was 224 miles round trip. This was the first time I actually checked fuel mileage on the Rowdy and it came in at 78 miles per gallon! Outstanding! No problems with the scoot either way. Odometer turned 1100 miles on the way home and valves are starting to tick a little so will need to adjust them soon. Unfortunately the raincover I ordered hadn't arrived when I left home so I stopped at a Harbor Freight and picked up a $3 5x7 tarp as a late evening heavy rain was predicted and I didn't want the Rowdy sitting out in the rain unprotected. The tarp served it's purpose and my raincover was in the mailbox when I arrived home so I will have it for the next adventure ride.

Luke check your state laws about blue lights. People have abused them so most states only allow police to show blue lights on a vehicle that can be seem out side the vehicle. In ar. it is a felony to turn them on when they can be seen out side vehicle. I have thought of getting some flashing on my gate post though, I don't think the law covers wood posts!.......
