Took scoot out for run to Post Office, about 3 miles with several good hills. I can fully appreciate the work I did to the Rowdy during the winter now. New 1500rpm clutch springs and a 1500 torque spring were installed along with a "beeper" on the turn signals. The springs improved the rideablility 100% as far as hills go. Very pleased with it. It always seemed "hang" and draw down the motor on climbs. Now rpms stay up where they should be and lose very little mph on climbs....It is nice to have an audible blinker now. It was wired through a relay so when brakes are on at a stop light the sound is off. Other work during winter consisted of drilling out A/F mixture plug and adjusting mixture. It now starts instantly and works as it should. Also installed a "performance" DC cdi. Don't know if that contributes to the easy starting but it certainly is different than the original. Many thanks to all on this board for all the information that is here. I certainly appreciate all the work that has gone into it. Thanks again.

Went out to check on the scoot to see if I had to brush any SNOW off. Was below freezing this morning with a foot of new snow in the mountains here in SLC. Luckily the scattered snow flurries forcast for the valley seemed to have bypassed me. Still much to cold to do any riding.

Finished putting my GF's new scooter back together and took it for it's maiden ride down the street and back. It was a relief it started right up on the first try seeing as I've never done any work on a scooter before. I made modifications to the CVT, charging system and ignition system on a brand new machine so there were all kinds of places for something to go wrong, LOL.

I added a top box to my Burgman 650 on Sunday. This weekend I'm replacing the water pump and thermostat on my reverse trike Sunny POS. Now, now, there are those of us(however few) that are happy with their Sunny RT's and this one had a great ride last nite...warm evening, new windscreen, fuel gauge still workin'(lol!), even got a few nods/waves from some cagers! Whodathunk?! ;D By the way Daddue, this is not meant in any way to "rub it in". I feel your pain and frustration and hope you can get resolution and get Liberty back on the road soon!

Good to hear New2scootn. I enjoyed my Sunny RT when it was "running". I put nearly 4,000 miles on it. The concept of the LEANING reverse trike is very nice and all the storage is good but the quality right out sucks. I changed the oil every 600 miles, used gas treatment ( fuel medic) with every fill up. I also broke the trike in and never rode her too hard. I did everything I could to be a "good" chinese scooter owner but I was broken down a total of 5 times. That is just too much with less than 4,000 miles and a $4,250 piece of equipment. I never rode in the rain as well. I was so nice to her but she treated me like sh@! lol. Enjoy your trike. I wish you many miles of pleasure. But I'm hoping to get mine fixed and sold.

I finally picked up my new People GTI300 from the dealer on Saturday. Got it home and immediately wired up the unused European turn signals as running lights. Then I installed my Biondi windshield. I removed the side reflectors for a cleaner look , and put black and blue reflective graphics down the side for visibility. Next I have to install my new SH40 Shad cargo topcase. I'm replacing the stock one so I can take it off when I want. Last project will be 14Gram Dr. Pulley sliders but that will wait till I get 1000 miles or so. Top case installed today. Now if the rain would stop, I can ride!
