I managed to hit the window between thunder storms and got my annual safety inspection done.

Changed fluids today. Very disgusting what came out. Everything went pretty smooth except I tried to put the oil filter in upside down. I could have sworn it came out that way. Anyway, ran nto the house an watched the video on changing oil and figured it out. Took it for a quick spin in between rain drops and did not see a noticable difference.

Took a beautiful ride through Amish country today, to the town of New Wilmington and Westminster College a fine learning institution. I did learn two things today: 1. Watch out for road apples, they will screw up your world. 2. If you don't have the helmet windscreen down, don't open your mouth while riding.

Pulling the plastic is fun! (But, then again, I get a root canal without any anesthetic.)
I just did a 1 year PDI when I had the plastic off to install KidNMe's xtreme performance CDI/Coil combo. ~nice~ I also installed a new rectifier. I'm going to have to pull the back end again when I install the blocking diode that I just ordered. I found a few bolts which took a turn, popped a little OxyGuard in the connectors for the heck of it, and relocated my gas filter to the lil inspection hatch on the left of the tunnel. Now I can get to it easy if I have to. (see my post in Vendors under KidNMe.)
my philosophy on my scoot is .... a stitch in time....

Lubed my throttle and adjusted the idle - it was a bit high. Took it for a test ride. Seems fine now.

I finally picked up my new People GTI300 from the dealer on Saturday. Got it home and immediately wired up the unused European turn signals as running lights. Then I installed my Biondi windshield. I removed the side reflectors for a cleaner look , and put black and blue reflective graphics down the side for visibility. Next I have to install my new SH40 Shad cargo topcase. I'm replacing the stock one so I can take it off when I want. Last project will be 14Gram Dr. Pulley sliders but that will wait till I get 1000 miles or so.
Just found out the factory accessory plug was only for cell phone charging. Installed another 12 volt accessory plug for my GPS.

I watched my stator cover which I stripped two bolts last year replacing the stator leak more oil as the temperatures rise. Yes I am now riding the scooter hard and watching more oil drip over night onto a pan under it.

Me? I just rode the little one to lunch just like I do every week day when it is warm enough to ride. Actually it is breakfast for me as I do not do mornings. I get up bright and early about 10:30!

Yes I am now riding the scooter hard and watching more oil drip over night onto a pan under it. Try this product it works great if it is leaking by a gasket. Add 3 ozs to the amount of oil you put in your crankcase. Best way to do it is drain your oil, get an empty quart of oil add 3 ozs of this stuff into the empty quart then fill the quart up to 3/4 of the quart shake it up and fill your crankcase. Then button it up and go for a nice ride getting it nice and hot and see if it stops the leak.
