How long did you run it with an exhaust leak? You my have burned a valve...do a compression check..

I ran it for 300 miles with out exhaust, got muffler put back on, set valves after that. Most of the problems are gone. It now only messes up now sometimes. It's much better.

300 miles your exhaust valve is probably bad.. I have seen them burn in 100 miles...new head!

Good news, right now, of I shut it off, it will start right back up. It was fuel or vacuum hoses

That's not nice. I just got 64mpg. Also. I think it's the electronic choke. Would explain alot.
