Work at walley world in the auto section and this happened yesterday. Harley idiot was upset because we do not stock 50 weight oil or the oil filter for his Harley! Seems oil and filter cost about 8 bucks more from Harley than our average prices for oil and filter. Go Figure guy has a 20K bike and was whining about 8 bucks!! Yes I was nice to him but all the time I was helping him I was thinking, " IDIOT"

Yea, and all of us would love to have a 1/3 of that money to buy one or 2 scoots, so in my book he is a #1 "IDIOT."

The reason he was all wanked out is because it's 8 bucks more for EACH quart. And yeah, he's an idiot. Rich

As far as the "Idiot" I have to wonder if he has an old pan that originally required 50 weight or if in fact he does not have a clue. Harley recommends 20W50, unless it is a very old machine, pan, knuckle, flat head ect. Now I run 20W50 in my 1950 pan and haven't had any issues. It don't leak either except for the external chain oiler and it is supposed to "leak" there. Not all Harley owners are idiots, some just shouldn't own anything with 2 or 3 wheels. The VStar is a nice machine, I have a customer with one that we do the maintenance for, he does not have a clue how to do it himself. Now is he an "Idiot" also? Jim/Owner Rapid Repair

Rare to find a true Harley rider these days. Most are mid life crisis riders. Some old cat with an Indian in the garage he retired after 20 or 30 years to get into a new Harley is the only kind of Harley rider I care for.

I was in the back of a quick stop in a booth sucking on a cup of coffee 7-8 years ago. I did not have any clothing on that would denote I was a bike rider, (my suzuki bandit was out front). In comes a herd of harley riders each you could have identified as harley rider a block away with out the harley. They all got coffee and sat down in the next 2 booths and prceeded to have a conversation about why they wont wear a helmet and how dangerous it was to have one on their head. They told of all the riders that would have lived through a crash if their neck had not been broke from the weight of the helmet! It was quite an education for me to see that many idiots in one spot. When I had read the sunday paper I got up and went out put my helmet on and rode home.
I still get a kick out of how they all got to wear the dirt bag outfits and the leather and chains hanging from the belts etc so others can pick them ouit of a crowd.
