A neat video touring a scooter factory.

I didn't know Znen made a Helix replica. I wonder where they sell that?

There is actually a helix copy in my area going for $1000 obo. I've been eyeballing it pretty hard but since I just got the 150 I don't think it's a good idea. lol

Numerous people make Helix copies with CF Moto being one. Znen has a reputation for making quality scooters with the Wolf and Puma brands, OK, Motorino too, being known for quality scooters from Znen. The BMS TBX 260 is built by them and comes with fuel injection. Definitely not a dirt floor and shack operation.

I think someone has posted that video on the forums already. I just watched it a day or so ago. It is interesting to watch the assembly line and to see the new scooters come to life. I'll tell you the truth, I'm satisfied with my lil china scoot thus far.

It will continue. The 50cc motor is pretty durable under normal circumstances. Plus Chinese motors get better with time and miles.

My bad on the repost! I did look back quickly, must of missed it. i'm very happy with both of my china bikes and I used to have a china dirt bike as well, loved it too. It's all about treating them right and maintaining them properly, in my opinion.

That's where scooter babies come from! It's surprising to see that most of the construction is done my hand

That looks like a real quality operation. It won't be long japan!

No, it won't be long John. The number of Chinese scooters out there proving themselves to be trusted friends is rising. Dealers of Znen brands in warm weather regions is rising in number and even in places up here. There are Puma and Wolf scooter dealers in PA and Connecticut. It won't be long before they will outnumber the "Name Brands".

I doubt if we will have to wait more than a few years to see big bikes come from ZNEN and the likes. The japs have gotten greedy and did it to them selves. Have never had a jap car and probably never will. I keep thinking of being behind the wheel on the tollway with the throttle on full and no way to turn off the ignition! and a full tank of gas!!!! What a feeling!!!

Ur right about the emerging Chinese two wheeled market. Don't be too hard in the Japanese though. Its ironic that the Japanese cloning of the 50s-60s technology that put them in the fore front, is now the same mode the Chinese are using now. If Honda and others hadn't developed certain power train designs I doubt that one would see much more than the miserable bicycle engines that they the Chinese pirated from the Russians being offered. I feel I am in the same time frame for the Chinese that I was as a kid in the late 60s looking at sales brochures of Hondas, Suzukis, Yamahas, etc. There was no CNC back then just masterful engineering and marketing. The Japanese produced an excellent product for short money. That got em going! Hopefully the Chinese will realize, which I believe I am beginning to see, that quality matters. I bought my then 14yr old daughter(now 24) a 50cc scooter, was a real disaster! Things have improved greatly since then! We now have 3 Chinese scooters I couldn't be happier with. The fact that all of them added together cost less than a Ruckus is just icing on the cake!

shakerempire,
Start a new thread in "General Discussion" for your heli coil question. Much better chance of getting a good answer than in some one Else's thread in "pictures and videos" john
