:-/Just wondering if anyone else has had the new yy250t-1 all at once go into a wobble state all over the road running 50mph in the wind not the steering but the whole scooter liked to never got it back under control by tapping back brake I’ve been ridding motorcycles since the early 70’s and had never had this to happen is there something in adjustments that could cause this or is it just the nature of the scooter due to its small wheels or maybe just me (TIA)

Wow. I'd be checking the back end for a loose wheel. Other than that, it might actually be you. Scooters handle differently than full blown motorcycles. The tire size has a lot to do with it. I've ridden for years and I had to make adjustments to my riding style for my scooter. I also have a YY250T

And what type of scooter are those? The YY250TTXXX only means they are approved for air uses in the US - California for sure. www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/onroad/cert/hmc/2010/benzhou_m1590006_250-257-275_0d8_h.pdfSo which type of scooter are you folks talking about. Make, power size, year of build, maybe even the vendors name for the bike. YY250TT_____ does nothing for describing the make and model of the scoot. .

Bob, Jonway uses it as a model number as well.. Check this page for the most common version of the YY250T scooter. www.scooterparts4less.com/Moped_JonwayYY250T.htmThe 'air' code you linked to gives model numbers and requires certain designations in the VIN, not the model number. YY250T is a valid way to designate your scooter on most websites. Here too from what I've seen. It may wrong, but its the common usage.

Despite my post above, Bob is correct. YY250T is too generic a label for identification. The MC-13-250 is a much better way to ID your bike in a post without a pic. (Obviously a pic is the best way...)
I have one of those, but it's a 150cc and it's broken. I'll give it to anyone that wants it. It just had the engine rebuilt, but it was never re-assembled. Long story, but it's otherwise a good bike. Oh, it has a registration problem. The owner of record is not around and so you have to do a notary thing to get it registered and make it legal again.

Okay, I have the same bike, it is a 250 horizontal engine. Having similar issues when I take my hands off the handlebars...........wobble. It happens from 30-55 mph. It doesn't happen at 65 till speed decreases to around 55. No problems as long as I have my hands on the bars. Any ideas?

Check for bumps, dents or dings in the metal wheels. Especially the front. Any small dent or ding could easily throw it way out of balance when moving.

my jonway shakes like an earth wuake until i hit 10MPH, the mechanic said its cuz my clutch was really dirty, he cleaned it by using sandpaper...

I ordered the MC-13-250 and received the YY250TT. Not the same scooter. YY250TT has a different engine.

I would check the headstock bearings, too, by putting the bike up on the stand so the back wheel is off the ground. lean on the back end so the front wheel is off the ground, then wiggle the front wheel/forks and look for play in the head stock. It is just like a bicycle, ball bearings(don't be surprised if there is no grease in there).
While it is on the stand, check for play in the swing arm. When I checked mine, I could spin the washers on either end with my fingers. It looked to me to be a long through-bolt with a pinch nut, washers, and rubber bushings instead of bearings--I hope I am wrong. but I snugged the nut up, and also the nut/washer/bushing at the front of the motor mount.This reduced my vibration problem to some degree, also.
While it is still up in the air, pull the cover off the CVT and inspect your belt. Start the bike and check the belt while it is running. The belt should run smooth and tight, all the way through its gear range and back down to idle again.If you see lots of deflection in the belt, I would be looking at the torque spring first. On my bike, I could easily spread the sheaves against the pressure of my torque spring--it was that weak. I had about 2 inches of deflection while running--the belt was actually wearing against the inside of my cover! I replaced my torque spring with a "white" spring from MPS Racing, and the personality of this bike changed drastically!! It is like a whole new bike! I went from anemic and full of vibration to smooth and powerful and fun to ride!
