Today get some "Seafoam" from the local auto parts store. It's a miracle fluid and will clean up that gas Toute Suite. I left gas in my Bashan for a year with some Seafoam in it and it fired up and ran through the tank with no trouble.

One step ahead of you. I picked up some Seafoam in anticipation of using that junk fuel. The only reason I used that gas is that my gas can was full of it and I wasn't going to dump it or by another gas can. I figured one tank full couldn't do much damage.

And congrats on the successful run. After all the steps you took, I would have expected nothing less. It's about what a Yamaha dealer has to do to try and get a Morphous to start. They were so terrible though that the dealers in America stopped selling them and Yamaha dumped dozens of Morphs at sea rather than pay the return shipping costs to Mongolia where they were built.

My next one may be a "bike in a box" from China.

I bought my current China Scoot from a dealer in Pacific Beach, CA that went out of business the next month.

The PDI was a fantasy, As well as the promises he made. Japanese carb (no), NGK spark plug (Chinese plug), new fuel and vacuum lines w/new fuel filter (not done). All bolts pulled and replaced with Loc-Tight (HA!). By the time I figured out I had been had, his phone was disconnected.
I could (and eventually did) do the work myself, as I am an experienced m/c rider and wrench turner. Next time I will make sure to do it myself. About the only thing he did was replace the shipping oil with 30w from the Dollar Store.

I was fooled by the cost. The PDI was less expensive than my time, or so I thought
Now I know it is actually fun to work on a China Scoot, once you know a trick or two.
