Got a new windshield. How to clean? By twowheeler (Read 1,540 times)

I got the "big" one. Covers to the top of my head. Love it. I used Windex on my old one and guess that wasnt the best way. I found this product. Anybody use it? I ordered it and it should be here in a few days.

Do you have to wash it before using it or is it an all in one?

I use lemon pledge, and dont use paper towels and always wipe in straight lines, not in circular motions.

I used windex on the windshield on a gold wing. It got so cloudy you could hardly see out of it. And you could not polish it out. Alcohol and ammonia are bad on the plastic.

I have been using the Slipstreamer brand like you are showing for a year now. My windshield looks like the day I bought it. Just make sure you use a microfiber cloth-no paper towels.

I use plexiglass cleaner used on small aircraft windshields. I get it from Aircraft Spruce. The website is www.aircraftspruce.com Enjoy your ride...

that novice is great used it in the boating industry. I just wipe with a damp cloth then when dry put a coat of good car wax on and buff with old longjon cloth.

It will get rid of scratches if you use the #2 and #3 properly.

This is the best stuff to use if its good for your butt its good enough for a lousy windshield.
