Loved the harley who lowsided, looks like mulhalen drive. Any body who is stupid enough to lower a bike like that deserves that ride.

I doubt if ethanol is directly causing cooling problems. It has less energy than gas. It does require using more fuel to do the job. Hence the needing bigger jets and making an engine run lean with jets designed for gas. With the right jet it should run slightly cooler than gas.
Used to be a class of race cars called "midgets", they burned straight alcohol and I don't ever remember them ever having cooling problems, they just used huge amounts of alcohol and must have got like 1 or 2 miles on a gallon of that stuff.

On my majesty I tore off the seat cover and covered the foam with the chopped stuff used for carpet padding except it was 1 1/2" thick so I glued it in place with spray glue. Electric knife to contour it. Using a heat gun I stretched the OEM cover back and there was just enough to staple it back. The seam is starting to give so I will be making a new cover soon.
Any time your knees are higher than your butt you are going to have comfort problems and mine are pretty well level now.
To redo a seat is pretty easy, if you need sewing there more of a problem but not impossible.

Looks like you have 9 months or so to make it work! Unless you have a working knowledge of electronics you best stick with what is known to work. Just because two units look the same does not mean they are even remotely similar inside. (and you can't just look in there as they are potted with epoxy)

They make a totally different sound when they are working though. Some one on a utube stuck one in a garden tractor and was running around the barnyard with it. Be perfect for letting a little kid drive, no danger of going too fast!

I would go one step further......I think that motor may be running lean. You should be able to hold your hand an inch from the pipe. Also would think about shimming the pipe out a bit too.

It's my contention that those who blame the chinese and the "junk" they produce are blaming the wrong people period.
How about blaming the importers who order junk when they could get top shelf quality if they wanted it. (and were willing to pay for it)
Its hard to pin point all the top shelf manufacturers who use chinese parts and engines and I am sure if a list were available jaws would drop. I am sure chinese parts are in every new vehicle in the world today. Not too many makers will admit it though.
