Don't hold your breath. I think it is just a pipe dream. Bet it will never get thru a crash test.
It has been many moons since any one made a basic car and that will probably never happen again. I bought a new 88 yugo and for what it was, it was a great car and the last basic car on our market that I knew of. I paid $2800 and it even had a heater....no radio though, lasted 65,000 miles almost trouble free, then I traded it for getting my 9 ft ceiling drywall hung.

Could be the trans is running dry due to coming apart and not putting the oil back in it. check that it has lubricant in it.

Save your money. You heard right. If you want a motorcycle get a real one. Nothing wrong with chinese bikes, you just need to be your own service department.

There's probably going to be another majesty on craigs list around here in the near future for real cheap. Mine just started blowing oil out, again. Still runs ok though. Will probably sell it for junk. There isn't a way in this world I am going inside that engine again. Crank case vents in the left air filter and is liberally dripping oil when I cleaned the air filters this weekend. In 2012 I tore it down and had the cyl bored and put in new over sized piston and rings. Oil pump was working at that time. It took almost 2 months to get all the parts to complete the job! A majesty is fine as long as it works and is a POS other wise. I am going back to a motorcycle. john

Valves need to be checked, could also be a carb thats gunked up. Which scooter is it, a 50 or a 150? Need a better description of how it acts and how long it runs before it quits.

Then there is the thing about fuel starvation at WOT. Have had that happen on a 150, fuel pump was not pumping enough, and soon as you back off all is well. Vacuume at WOT is not as much as at lower throttle.

Get out your soldering iron and solder the too big jet shut. Then drill it again but not so big! If you don't have the right size get to a welding supply, they carry bits for redrilling torchs. They are cheap, sets run maybe 10 bucks and cheaper on the net.

An 80 amp buzz box converted to DC will out weld the cheap wire welders at the same amps. With DC you don't get the awful spatter the flux wire puts out and you get better penetration. 80 amps is not going to weld thick metal no matter how you use it though.
I use 1/16" rods with almost no spatter at all on DC. I have a 230 amp buzz box that I converted and added DC outputs and can weld up to about 130-150 amps DC. and up to 230 AC. Was going to get one of those Cheap flux wire welders and a pro welder talked me out of it. I put a DC bridge in the low output and left the high output alone. Have continuously variable outputs on AC and DC.

Close out browser then go to scooterdoc and log on first then search. What you did was search before logging in, you log in then but crap gets screwed up that way.
