I wouldn't be surprised if the heavier springs take more adjusting. The soft aluminum of the heads and all.

I would hate to guess how many miles and how old a lot of the scooters are in these 3rd world countries. Most do not flog them, but use them just like you would use a tool, some of them you see 4 and 5 or more people on them, not going fast but just going. In very few years chinese scooters will be at the top of the heap.

The japs never would have got off the ground making motorcycles and scooters had it not been the fools in washington dc who dumped tons of our money into post war japan. They should have been required to pay back the damages they caused starting with pear harbor.

In our library you should be able to find a diagram of the wiring for a generic scooter that matches yours. If you don't have a multi-meter get one and learn to use it. Wiring across a fuse is a good way to smoke the whole scooter.

Better than what the japs did to us. Just how many US servicemen died at the hands of the jap butchers and I wonder how many of those dead were tortured first. Not quite the same as our unions that bargins like street gangs.

Do we all know that 95% of the people of Taiwan are chinese? The big difference as I see it is the politics. And that has been changing with the times. Also the fastest train in the world is said to be in china. An over head magnetic track. and it was built with out the help of unions.

If you had tried to get a cycle shop to fix it they would have refused. There are no shops that I know of that will repair a scooter or motorcycle tire....unless it is an off road vehicle. Liability I am sure.
