my new scoot is running fine.. dealer prep was dubious.. almost wonder if i could have saved myself couple hundred and had it shipped to me ... at any rate.. I'm pleased so far.. some minor issues.. expected.. but.. the horn is not working well... i cannot hear it at all.. and while my hearing is a bit poor... my last scooter horn was quite audible.. this one .. is not.. any suggestions?... is this a *feature*

I HAVE SEEN.. more than once.. a fuel capacity of 3.2 gallons... when i reached for my trusty ... notsogood.. operating instruction manual for my conway yy250t .. under capacity of fuel tank it lists 140.... however .. next row down it shows oil capacity to be 10.5 liters... so I'm gonna take a wild guess heres and say its all misplaced and that the 10.5 liters is for gas.. which translates to 2.77 gallons

let the record show.. that one idle adjustment.. one voltage reading.. and one high pitched whine.. is good for .. a piston AND two stars

I'm pretty conflicted right now about the alarm.. i like the idea.. i really like the GPS idea... i don't want to pay a monthly charge.. i haven't used the alarm yet.. except to test it.. .. but i can see usefulness arming it in a parking lot... since its not automatically draining my b battery.. i will wait to decide how to use or not use it

after 3 days?... i checked the battery voltage this am.. pre-ignition was 12.6... after ignition cold idle... 13.6.. after warm up and set idle RPMs it was 14.8.... question i have now is.. 14.8 irregular? is this some super duper 12v battery impervious to anything except green kryptonite?

for older peoples... there is a certain liberation in a new scooter.. in addition.. if you order your scooter online.. or have a nice dealer.. you can ... if you are handy... use the shipping metal frame... as a stretching cage... my dealer gave me the metal frame that the scooter comes in... (inside the plywood box)... its a large metal frame.. 7 ft tall... 4 ft square ... which .. with a little ingenuity.. allows me to make a stretching cage.. (google it if you aren't familiar)... I've been wanting to make one for a couple of years... a gym nearby has one.. and i used it regularly... now i will have my own... why do i call this a bonus?... a stretching cage can cost $2000... so i get a new scooter and a $2000 (kinda sorta) stretching cage with a day or two effort... spray paint it.. and it will work as good as the one at the gym

I've decided to keep the remote system intact for now.. will test the PANIC button... what i am beginning to understand.. is the remote and the key ignition.. don't kn ow each other exist.... and whatever you do with the remote.. you must UNDO... in the same manner you would start with a key.. and then turn it off later.. one does not turn both off.. and that may be why the remote drains batteries... just a guess.. but it makes sense

not quite sure where to place this thread... my new jonway YY250t radio/MP3 player doesn't seem to be working.. I've tried the ON/off button... have iPhone plugged into it.. music going.. but there is no sound... and there is no info online... there are 2 mystery buttons.. S and R.. not sure what that stands for.. any one have a working mp3 / radio player?
