Oh the Express is Cool! It brought me back. I remember consumers running outboard oil in them and clogging up the Exhaust port. Thats really neat and in great shape

Try doing easy stuff drain fuel get a air line blow tank as dry as possible change fuel filter and see what happens try then open gas cap to better venting. Some time over thinking can be a bigger problem then problem at hand. Ditto with crfd here. Lets go slow and One thing at a time It only sat for Two Weeks. Extremely Unlikely that jets are clogged. Check spark, Got spark? Try Starting fluid (ether) or Carb cleaner. if it starts on either then its telling you your getting no fuel to the engine.

crankworks.com/index.php/crank-servicesHow much Compression? How Much RPM? I put a linkie to I can first hand personally recommend if ya want to do it correctly and spin the rotation assay. true and weld crank and all the snake oil stuff I have a NCY +2.2mm Storker crank in the box, I checked for true and she's less than .001, not bad for aout of tha box. I don't see anything wrong with the crank's you have the link to. I read the marketing hupla like everyone else

What extra has to be done to use a stroker crank. Ive herd things like needing spacers or a longer cam chain? How would I go about getting the items? Depends on how Long ya gunna Strokeher. And who's piston ya gunna use?

MAN THIS IS A SAGA (HAHA). I hope it is off a link or so and will be an easy fix. PAIN IN THE arse because you have to take the chain off and NOT ALLOW the FLYWHEEL TO MOVE once you have the timing marks lined up. So SOMEHOW LOCK THE FLYWHEEL IN PLACE SO IT DOES NOT MOVE WHEN YOU ARE MESSING THE THE CAM AND CHAIN. Alleyoop On Going Saga for sure, be nice to put it to rest, ey ally? Hope I didn't send this guy down the wrong road with his cam timing or possible sheared or missing key. Thinkin he has everything to run just thing's aren't happening at the correct time to make it happen.

Ok easier way for me to ask so im not confused I set tdc when exhaust is about to open or when intake is about to open. And by open I mean when the cam is coming around and the valve is compressed He's on Overlap here. ??

Ok I just found out im 180 out. Bout to flip that here in a sec and go over the rest of the list The only way it can be 180 out is if the WOODRUFF key is damaged and allowed the FLYWHEEL to rotate on the CRANK SHAFT. IF the WOODRUFF KEY is good and HOLDING the FLYWHEEL in that position THEN it IS NOT 180 DEGREES out. Remember the SPARK PLUG FIRES TWICE ONCE is a WASTE ON THE EXHAUST STROKE and then ON THE COMPRESSION STROKE. So the important thing is to line up the CAM with the LOBES DOWN when the PISTON IS UP. Now it could just be that the timing is TO ADVANCED and I would move the CAM CHAIN 1 LINK OVER LIKE THIS to RETARD IT A LITTLE. Most motors will have a hard time starting if to ADVANCED. So Line everything up like you did when you adjusted the VALVES. THEN MOVE THE CHAIN ON THE CAM 1 LINK OVER LIKE IN THE PICTURE HERE. That will RETARD IT A FEW DEGREES and make it easier for the motor to start IF the problem is it is the timing is TO ADVANCED. By retarding it the CASE POINTER should now point a little BEFORE THE "T". Alleyoop CLICK ON THE PICTURE SO YOU CAN READ THINGS BETTER: True this is. I threw it in there with the Key Maybe Sheared

Spark plug

I have a 50cc tao tao model 2012 and for some reason the spark plug end will not stay on the plug. I see no reason it should keep coming off. It has the long shank into the spark plug hole and slides on the end of the plug; you know the kind that has to have the cap unscrewed so you are plugging the wire onto the threaded shaft part only. I will pull the whole seat and get it plugged in good and it seems tight but then a week or so later with not notice and the farthest I could ever be from home it comes loose so the engine shuts off and I am on the side of the road burning my hands up in blisters getting it back on just so I can make it another 100 feet. I have had to put it back on 20 times for a 5 mile ride. Then again I might run for a month with not problem. Is the plug just too worn out and I need to replace the coil (since it is all one unit) or is something else causing my plug wire end to keep coming off? Does it have the Rubber Boot around the end? I had a loose firing one that the engines Cooling Fan was blowing off. same thing 10-20 feet or so. Or Id be blasting down the road and Boggggggggggggggggg, she dies I took the Rubber boot off the end, fixed. My scoot never sees rain or nasty weather so not necessary.

Ok its a New 57mm top end Correct? When you first took it for a ride do you think it may have got Hot? like Real Hot? In other applications I have seen a Overheated Motor Collapse the Compression Ring. ( Top Ring).
