I look at that deal as the seller would lie to you about the good parts of the scooter what about what isn't said? (maybe its hot) Same deal with the phone peddlers who ignore the law and the no-call lists.....are they going to be honest with you about their phony products? when I went to the bank, my fiance said he pulled it out, and hooned around on it in the lot, he's selling it to her for about 1600, from what I saw online, they were more than that new. I'm just hoping we can get it, he's letting us lay-away it. Seems to be a Vento clone, from what I saw on a board in the google search. I don't think it'll do 80, he said he had to 65, and it was still pulling, I kniw by the speedo on my bike 45mph=35mph- when it worked. So it doin "65," and still pulling, it was probably doing 40 or so. I know it's probably faster than a 4t 50, at least marginally. I figure it'd be a good beginner scooter.

The problem here isn't the scooter, it's the guy selling it. Baccio sold some quality machines even during the Dark Ages. Patrick McClure, aka Automotoguy had a 150cc version of the Baccio and put 46,000 miles on it BEFORE SELLING IT. He had to replace the rear gears at around 36,000 miles as I recall. So the answer is Baccio makes a good scooter but the person selling it is a jerk. Or he's trying to palm off 80 kph as 80 mph. A lightly modded 50cc two stroke could hit 50 mph (80 kph). It's the Baccio Speedy. I don't think the guy is a jerk, I just think he might not know much about 2t engines. He own the place, but he's not the mechanic, and he admitted he doesn't know much on the mechanical side. He sells these 150 scooters that used to be a model sold by Jonway, Tank, and I think SunL, he could tell me the company(chinese) bought out, or absorbed those two companies, but didn't know that scooter model originally had halogen projector headlights, or really what projector healights were- at least by name. Chinese bikes outnumber the japanese, and italian bikes here in Louisville, yet there is a total of four shops that will touch them. Two of them are hard to catch open, one is a guy that does it as a hobby, so I'm hoping my vibes on this old man is true. My scooter is being repaired there. Station Park Honda, Harley/Vespa, and the now closed Highland Motorsports(who sold taiwanese gy6) won't touch them, and I doubt Yamaha will. So I pray this guy is okay, if not, I'll needing to be learning scooter wrenching real fast. He used to be a motorcycle shop, but went exclusively scooter, for the fact that there is hardly anyone here that works on them. Which is sad, when almost every indie/smalk company tire shop sells them.

My fiance is wanting to get a used 07 50cc 2t. From what I briefly found, it uses a minerelli 2t engine. On the side, it sez super speed engine booster or something, on the sides, the guy claims it had some sort of device on it that allows the thing to do near 80mph.

I could do the same with a guy that lived on the next block. Then one day as I drove by I wondered about the garage door opener. YUP! reminds me of when I was bouncing at a club; a bartender was using an app on his phone to work the tv, until we foukd find the remote. Well one gaurd found it, and he kept changing the channel every time the bartender changed it back. I told him to turn the tv off whenever hit this one button on his phone. This bartender had know clue we had it, and even slightly glanced our way , a few times. We had customers laughing, and taking video- we were screwing with him for ten minutes, until he turned around. It was so funny. the bartender right next to him was recording it, and he didn't notice.

All of them need some way to get the heat out to the heatsink. I would not get to carried away on what the medium is unless it turns out to be a heat insulator. A space age goverment military grade unit might have an oil to insulate electrically and to carry unit heat out to the heat sink. It also might be a $10,000 part! The Quality of your units might be judged on the components used on the board resistors, capacitors, and semiconductors and the solder joints. Many small electrical units fail because of poor quality capacitors. I watched a youtube video a few years ago, where a guy built a desktop computer, and used- I think canola oil- to keep it cool, basically building a sealed tower, and filling the thing up with the oil, and temperature was about as low as the liquid cooled units. I'm kinda surprised they are filled with something, but thinking about 80s fords, the emissions computer under the hood, had something like these cdis have on the fender facing side, that looked like blacktop. I'm not sure how hot a cdi can get, I'm sure it, and other circuitry could be combined to one unit, and a desktop liquidcool system could be retrofitted, and the little radiator could be placed behind the front wheel, or somewhere with airflow. Would be a little bosozuku.

a visual it best post a pic of what you have so we can see. John I can't do it. This damned bike had me in tears as I walked it the hour home tonight. I've adjusted it several times, it won't idle, it doesn't like to start, and tonight it about killed the battery to the point it hardly cranks, and the kickstart is useless unless combined with the starter. If it was a moped, I would've picked it up, and threw it across the street. it has basically a dirtbik throttle on it from motercycle superstore. the throttle is not working. I bought a scooter throttle the otherday but it doesn't have a cable housing, and hadn't had time to put it on, and see if the other cable housing will work with it. I'm basicly sick of trying to fix it, and it not working. I turn the screw, it's set too high, I slowly back it out so that it idles, and it dies, try it again and it's too high, then I get it just right, blip the throttle, and it revs up. turn the idle back down so it actually idles, turn it off, start it up, and it's up to high again. I'm sick of it, it just will not act right., and ai know the whole reason is that stupid dirtbike throttle, and now it will not even start, so even if I put the SCOOTER throttle on it, i can't get it to run to fix it. I hatd this bike. I wish I had just gotten anothe proper throtle to begin with. sorry for the screwed up post, but I'm way to depressed, and angry to fix all the typos.

not that big. it was about the size of a junior dirtbike, looked like a crotch rocket- kinda like a grom. I couldn't find anything in a google search. It was between a grom, and rebel in size, and looked like a generic crotch rocket. I wish I coulda taken a picture of it. it had regular 13" wheels. Ah ha! it was like this, but with a little less front plastic

So earlier today, when we were in Indiana, we saw a guy going the other way on a scooter that looked like a sport bike. It was bigger than a grom, and looked like a 150. It was about the size of a non50 framed 125. I wish I coulda taken a picture of it, it looked like the frame may have had a motorcycle engine on the frame at some point. We were in Jeffersonville.

Is the word "gates" on the belt itself? What else is written on the belt including numbers? Yes, it's the brand.

Don't forget to let it run for 5 minutes to allow the auto choke to get you off fast idle. Then you can adjust your idle speed. If you think the cable is a problem disconnect it when you try to start it and set the idle. I would check the valve lash if you have not done that yet. I can not get a stable a/f adjustment if the lash is off. John I'll make a not of that when I get a proper throttle. I had to mod the barrel holder, by trimming that back to the length of a scooter throttle barrel holder, and it catches in the casing, and there is still more freeplay than it should be, once I get a actual scooter throtle assembly, I can retune it, and it'll be like it was. It won't ever be correct with that motorcycle one.

Take a picture and post it but if it is stock system it shouldn't be a problem china builds them by the millions never heard a problem with air boxes It's not a real problem, I'm just looking at making a cheap performance cold air intake, versus that snakey rubber dyer hose, and airbox.

The only PVC you will find is the one on the VALVE COVER that allows the crankcase to breath and that has a hose connected to it because when and if the pressure in the crankcase gets to high it squirts oil out the hose. So that hose you have to make sure it is VENTED and not kinked. Most of us zip tie that hose HIGH on the frame with a fuel filter on the end of it so if it does squirt oil out it does not get all over the motor and or tires. Alleyoop I am talking about pvc pipes: polyvinyl carbonate. Using it as a cheap performance intake versus expensive online options.

GOOD JOB, where there is a will there is a way. It should idle around 1500-1800 rpms. The Back wheel should start to turn around 2000+ rpms. Alleyoop Thanks, it did stall twice, but once I get an actual scooter throttle(motorcycle one catches in the housing), I'll retune it. But its much better than it was, it idles, and has it's speed back.
