I didn't even attempt to use the battery it came with. I went straight to the AGM battery.

Be careful up there, I have driven it in the cage 4-5 times and this is peak season. Especially watch out for the idiots who can't hold a line and the 18-wheelers that take up both lanes in the turns. Check out Wayah Rd. and the Cherohala Skyway while you are there too!

I have looked at those but have been concerned with the longevity. They retail for the same as a Honda or Kawa new, but in their favor, 2 cylinder and FI if you get a 2008 or 2009 and up. There have been a couple on CL local but I have heard the earlier ones had some issues. bham.craigslist.org/mcy/2451986339.html

Anyone running a +4 crank? Trying to consider my options going forward. Still waiting to find out what insurance is doing, I'm a thinker so trying to decide between going BBK on the scootercycle if it doesn't get totaled or 2008-2011 250cc Ninja for the right price.
If I go BBK, I'm looking to do a 62x62 setup, which technically should grant me some additional torque and top end. Would also be doing a re-gear at the same time and very seriously considering the F.I. kit from Ecotrons.
Only thing I have against the 250cc Ninja is the lack of F.I.(Ecotrons makes a kit for it $500). The other negative/positive for the Ninja is the large amount of aftermarket available, it's a negative because I like to mod and wife won't be pleased with the expense ;D. Positive because of the wide availability of all kinds of goodies!

I went from (2) 18W/18 up to 25W/25 or 35W/35, cant remember which atm, with no ill effects. I have a post somewhere with a link to the bulbs. Looking into some 35W/35 PIAA bulbs if the scootercycle doesn't get totaled...

I'm still here bud! Those are some nice looking parts you rounded up, I might have to swing out there and check out the finished product.
(Off Topic) Still in pretty decent pain, but managing it with meds. Insurance is working on the claim and they came by today to asses the damage to the scoot. Ready for the break to heal so I can ride again... the cage puts me to sleep.

I was only going 35 in a 40, pretty much did everything right, the problem is the 150 didn't have enough go to get me past the guy when he went wide into the left lane. Only other thing I could have realistically done was pulled all the way left to the fog line instead of going to the middle of the left lane. Seriously considering a 600cc Suzuki Bandit once I can ride again.

Broken clavicle, all my riding gear is hosed except my boots, couple of lacerations. The bike has a bent left handlebar, road rash on 3 of the fairings and the cvt cover is toast. Trying to get it home without having to pay to get it towed again.

Project is on hold. I was taken out by a cage and will be unable to ride/wrench for at least a month.

In Miami, I would run 15W-40 or 20W-50 oil. For brake fluid either DOT4 or 5.
