Moving buying home money very tight. Could not justify building 50, dont have the $ for the 250 ordered a NOS 2008-150, I'm thinking my mechanical ability and Scrappy dog parts will make it O.K. Thinking immediate changes are exhaust and carb, variator and torque spring will make a big differance. Of course the normal fuel lines tire valves etc. Any thoughts out there?

YA KNOW WHAT most of them to me look like INSECTS, FISH AND CATS. Asians are famous for putting animal designs into many things. LOL maby they are designing with their stomach, cause most I have known eat some strange things. ;D

Isn't that the truth alley I use wildfire to go to grocery. I always get inquire's from men about mileage. On this past Monday I saw one of them that was interested and really asking questions. He was riding a new 50 and had the smiles per gallon expression on his face. ;D

Yep, Chinese connectors are so bad, when I had an issue with dash light the wires jst came out connector stayed in. The connectors are so thin re crimping is futle, solder was the ans, but it is what it is and I learned to deal with it.

The old green Tank finally died on the way home from work yesterday. Doing about 60mph and it started 'bogging' down. Pulled off the side of the road and shut her down. Rear whell spun freely, oil looked fine but now is locked up tighter than a drum. Had to carry it home in a cager. Will start tearing into it this weekend if I have time. Any quick suggestions? I'm thinking worst case scenario of a seized motor. 13,000 miles and it was running great. . Had that happen way back, way way back, but it was two cylinders. Holed one piston kicked it a few( lol not the bike, the hick starter, replaced plugs rode home on 1 cyl. I was really hauling butt. Total rbuild. Keep the faith it will be cool.

Got insurance, proper registration tag. Now I am illegal according to State Police, if a tag has been issued it must be displayed! Here is the deal. Law takes effect July 1, 2011. Scooter inspection is not in Inspectors Manual, therefore no inspector wants to touch it, dont blame them because they could loose the inspectors license. (One inspector doubts the lights will pass the intensity machine test but would not test because its not in the books). As Dad used to say" Damned if you do, Dammed if you dont!" Mrs. Newbie says, " Sell the Dam thing go back to Harley"!

Small dealer 30 miles away. Why do we not see these on the scoot sites, are they that good or that bad. Healthy price 4 sure.
