Alleyoop, when I stop at lights, the idle needle gauge doesn't move up or down, just idle gets jerking and missing, but it doesn't stalls, it almost reminds me of a harley, the way they run. rpm's are around 1800-1900 at idle. I also realized that I posted the wrong spark plug, I can repost the right, the one that I should have posted, the whitl is darken.

No, its just like jerking, but the needle doesn't move, just sound like its miss and I can feel it, when it cold idle runs good. It almost feels like when the clutch is engaged, but I fixed that area. I'm going to try to record it, and post it later.

I just look at the thread about setting clip on needle jet, the clip that moves towards the pointed end enriches the carb, thats where mine is set.

Hi alleyoop, I know I have the needle jet set at the richest point, may have got confuse on what end, you remember when I had all that trouble, and people thought the my scoot was set on lean, so I check and it was set on the last possible clip pushing up the needle (rich) and at that time I turn a/f in all the way, counted 2 1/2 turns out. since then you know I replaced CDI, recently egnition coil, replaced spart plug, replaced fuel filter, Hey, I even cleaned my air filter. I can report to you it doesn't shut off anymore. but it is doing this idle thing at stop lights.

rob63, yes I have the clip in the slot nearest to the end of needle, scoot is running great, the only issue I have is after its warmed up it idles rough when stop at light or stop signs, almost like its miss, but it doesn't stall.

I do have my needle jet set with the clip to the highest setting to rich and before turning in a 1/2 turn in, I did have the a/f turned out 2 1/2 turns.

Just like jct842 said, then if you find a leak, you can plug it, I did with my rear kenda tire and still got another 3,000 mile on it until I replaced it, total miles on that tire was about 7,000mile (kenda tires are great)

Make sure your intake clamp to carb and the back of carb going tito your air box is tight, mine was cutting out at 50+, got checking intake was loose a little, but I thought, I'll check that back one, sure enough that clamp took about 5 or 6 turns to tighten it. (just a thought)

Maybe your running too lean, adjust your a/f mix screw, turn all the way in (count the turns) turn out 2 1/2 turns, see if that helps.

Does this scoot have the air / fuel mix screw on carb, try this turn a/f screw all the way in til it stops, turn out 2 1/2 turns out, then try to start.

I'll check that vacuum hoses and I'm going to order ignition coil anyway I did notice today when cold idle good, it seems when its warmed up is when its runs rough just at idle You said it sound lean, but I'm 2 1/2 turns out and my needle jet clip is set on the highest being rich.
