Back to Superior, I am having similar problems with a defective part. First off, they sent me a 2008 scooter without ever mentioning it was a three year old leftover. When I asked about this practice, they told me "you should have asked".That and the very poor communications got us off on a sour note. Doing my PDI, I found that the hole for the gearoil fill had been stripped. I was finally able to talk to Josh who told me to just wrap the plug with teflon tape and it would be fine. This did not sound like as acceptable remedy to me. After a couple somewhat intense phone calls with management, they agreed to replace the housing. That has been almost a month ago, Still no part. They wanted me to send the old part back first. Boy am I glad I did not do that. Like McAlli, I love my scooter, Superior, not so much! My latest problem is that the battery stopped starting the scoot. Had it checked out, bad cell. Called Superior and was informed that the battery warranty is 5 days. As I told them, they must know that they are JUNK!. Oh well, the saga continues. All I can say about Superior Powersports is BUYER BEWARE!

This sounded like a joke! I contacted Superior Powersports regarding the battery in my Roketa-70-150 that I got about 6 weeks ago. It has a bad cell and won't hold a charge. When I asked about the warranty, I was told they have a 5 DAY warranty. I could do nothing but laugh. Why not say there is NO Warranty. I said that they must know that they are junk! Of course they said I was one of the few to have a problem. Anyone else had a problem?

I have a Roketa MC-70-150 with about 600 miles. It has been starting fine. This AM, no start. I kick started with no problem. Seemed like a dead battery. Drove it 10 miles, let it sit 3 hours, it started with the key. Drove 1 mile, shut it off for 15 min., had to kick start it. Drove home 10 miles, shut it off, tried to start, no good. I let it sit for 2 hours, checked the voltage, it read 10.32v. I kick started it, got it running, checked voltage, 13.6 volts at medium throttle. That shows that it is charging. I removed the battery and replaced it with a fully charged battery from my other scoot. It started right up. I checked the voltage while it was idleing, about 13v, revved it up a little and the voltage climbed to 15 volts after about 30 seconds. Is that too high? Seems to me like it is cooking the battery. What should I check? Maybe the regulator. How do I check that? Thanks for any help. I hope the warranty may cover it.

That looks like it. Should there be gas in that line? I think I must have overfilled the tank. I am wondering if I should disconnect it and leave it as a vent line. What do you think?

I have checked the plug, not the valves. Another thing I want to check is the odometer for accuracy. The scooter runs great. I am a little reluctant to mess with the valves, having never done it before. The other reason is that I have seen several different settings to use. Not sure which ones to use. I guess I should get brave and try adjusting them. What numbers should I try? I have read .004 for the intake and .005 for the exhaust. I also heard .0015 and .02. Thanks for any advice.

I am wondering if anyone can tell me what the small tube coming out of the top of the fuel tank is for? It runs down and connects to a small round something that I also do not know what is. Any thoughts?

That 45/45 bulb is exactly what I am using now. So far so good! Nothing melting yet.

I did not buy it new, but I did buy it from the dealer that sold it new. He told me what had been done to it and that wes not on the list. However, maybe that was something he forgot. I don't know.

No , I am not sure. I just ordered one not knowing some may be different. Mine fastens in with only one screw. I will see if I can get any numbers off the carb when I get a chance to take it out again. Will try all your suggestions and let you know how I make out. I really appreciate all your help. I am learning alot. Thanks

Can anyone tell me if the enricher/auto choke on these are all the same or are some different sizes? I have a new that seems too big for the hole the old one came out of. This scooter is a 2005 TNG Verona 150.

I will have to come up with a feeler gauge before I can try this. The only thing I wonder is why this problem started all of a sudden. It started after I tried to start it once after I had bumped the kill switch. I tried to start it several times before I realized the problem. It would seem the valves out of adjustment would happen gradually. Maybe not. Was wondering if it may be some kind of electrical problem that worsens as it warms up. Don't know, just grabbing at straws. Thanks

It has 25,000+ km. I have never adjusted the valves. I guess I will try.

In an earlier post I was having a problem with it starting but would not run above an idle. It was suggested that I clean the carb. I did that as per detailed instructions and thought that solved my problem. I started it, revved it up a few times and thought all was well. Now I come back to it a few days later to adjust the fuel/air and let it warm up to do so. As soon as it warms up my original problem reoccurs. It will idle, but as soon as I twist the throttle, it bogs down or stalls. I replaced the spark plug, maybe slightly better-not right. I was going to replace the enricher, but the one I have appears to be slightly too large to fit in the socket. I thought they were all the same, but I guess I was wrong. Any Ideas? Thanks.
