Thanks for the replies. I have put the 45/45 bulb in because I have it! I will try to keep an eye on it for a while and see what happens. Will let you know.

Has anyone increased the wattage of their headlight bulb? Mine got wet yesterday and blew. It was a 35/35 watt. I have a 45/45 bulb, but do not want to melt anything.

Hi, I have a Roketa 150 and am somewhat dissapointed in the mileage so far. I have less mileage on mine(300km)and am getting about 47mpg on the first two tankfuls. I will be interested to watch the replies. Good luck.

Are you sure you don't want to make fun of me!!! Just kidding. I weigh about 200#. I have a 2005 TNG Verona with 26,000 km and I get about 75mpg, or 70 with me and my wife. The tire pressure is 30-32psi. I have not had this new scooter over 45mph yet while most has been 30-40. Hopefully, after a little more breakin and some longer and a little more speed, mileage will improve.

I just got a new Roketa MC-70-150. I have about 300km on it. I have filled it twice and after the calculations I am getting 47 MPG. Is anyone else running this same scooter? I hope after breakin, the MPG will improve! What do you think? Any suggestions?

I pulled things apart again and checked for AC. No reading. I started to trace the harness and found what I believe to be a bad connection. I took it apart and reconnected it. I then rechecked and found DC voltage. I will warm it up and see what happens. Should the idle speed change or not?

I think it is supposed to idle lower after warming up. My other scooter with the same carb, has a noticable difference.

I have a new MS-70-150. It is running and starting fine in this warm weather, but I noticed that there is no difference in idle speed warh or cold. I pulled the enricher and could no see any movement. I then checked the connector where it plugs in. I was unable to detect any voltage present. Any ideas what I should be checking. The other symptom of it being open all the time is my fuel mileage. The first two tankfuls yielded 45 and 48mpg. I realize that it is still breaking in. Thanks

Thanks, I just got a chance to pull and clean the carb. I put it back on and it started right up and seems to be running fine. I may have to make some adjustments once I get it warmed up. Thanks for your detailed help.

Well, I bypassed the vacuum petcock and it runs perfect. So if I am right, that means I have a vacuum problem. Any ideas on what to do, or should I just put a manual petcock in the line?

I was wondering if I could bypass the inline petcock. It seems that would tell for sure if it is a vacuum problem. Let me know what you think.

I checked all the clamps on the vacuum lines and the tee. I test drove it again and it seemed a little better, but not perfect. It still died a couple of times, but seemed to start again before it came to a complete stop. I guess I will try it again tomorrow and see what happens. I found the CDI (what ever that stands for) and unplugged and reconnected the plugs. How else can I check that? Any other ideas? Thanks

It starts and runs great until I ask it to exert itself such as going above 40 or trying to maintain speed going up a hill, then it just dies. Sometimes it will restart but usually coasts to a stop. I let it sit for a minute or two andthem it starts and runs fine at low speed. I did replace all the vacuum lines, I hope I put them all back in the correct place. I think I did because I did them one at a time. I will go back and check the clips. I like your idea of the zip ties. Will keep you advised. Thanks
