Bashan, Thanks for your help. I have a much better idea of how the jets actually work. Who would think the MAIN JET kicks in so late in the throttle. Should have renamed it to high speed jet or something.

Dr that was no misprint. My Iridium is .026, in fact the one before it the gap was .026. I don't have a special tool and I sure don't want to break off the tip. I emailed NGK about the gap and will post when I hear from them.

On my old NGK plug I set the gap at .032 and did nothing with the Iridium plug.

Main Jet

I have a UNI air filter and just installed a 125 main jet. My question is when does the main jet kick in? Also running a 40 pilot jet. The main jet was a 112 and I'm not sure if I feel any difference at all when running from 40-55 MPH. Everyone says you must use a larger jet with the UNI. Well I am now but what is it actually doing?

I just purchased a NGK Iridium plug and the gap was factory set at .026. According to NGK the Iridium gap should not be changed due to damage to the tip.

Reply #2 is right on. I thought the same as you can reach your hands under and get at the light socket but that clip screws that idea up. I don't know why they just didn't mount the lens with several screws and just unscrew the bulb and put in a new one.

Man that red and chrome really stand out on your scoot. Love the way the instruments stand out, nothing cheap looking there.

2009 Tiger T-150 after adding a windshield. I believe it is 15" high and 20" wide. The make is Slipstream, model # is 66. I have really enjoyed owning it although I have said a few choice words more then once. Good thing I do my work in the garage with the door down or my neighbors will have me arrested.

Thank Leo and you are right we are all sickos here who love punishment in the form of the gy6. Besides minor problems nothing major has gone wrong with it and I started riding it to work if no rain is in the forecast. Thanks again for compliment.
