These engines don't like 300 miles with no header/exhaust.. they don't like 10 miles with no header/exhaust...
All kind of weird things can happen... valve guides give out, exhaust valve burn, valve seats over heat, the heads deform...
Great way to ruin an engine IMHO...
Pull the valve cover and set the valve gaps first...you may be lucky, but I suspect you will need to replace the head...
Rich you are just BBBBBBBBBBBBAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDD

No exhaust for 300 miles....you have probably burned a valve...or overheated the head...
You need to run a hot and wet compression check...

You need to put a fixed point (2 x 4) standing up to the wheel and see if it is the wheel or the tire.. you can't tell from the video...If the wheel is pressed steel you may be able to have it straighten.. if it is cast aluminum likely not...I would look at the wheel bearings also and the spline to the axle...
Don't ride it like that...

CH80 are a different engine so while some this apply in general many things specific to the GY6 won't apply...
I agree to check for a bent wheel first...torque wrench won't be of benefit.. just make certain the nuts are all tight...
Valve gaps can be a HUGE problem with starting on a GY6 especially when the engine is hot.. perhaps the CH80 is not the same...

I would be very careful about those grey market engines.. some people have done OK with them other haven't. Sort of buying a pig in a poke...

I would say it isn't the same as the Trail tech... the Trail Tech has more wires if I recall...like a blue one etc...perhaps the 8 coil stator has a floating ground.. I seem to recall somewhere that it does , but maybe it is just the 3 phase 11 poles that do...

I use clear cause it looks better...sure you could use high heat red if you wanted to... but there is a difference between RTV silicone and silicone gasket maker...not certain what it is, I never liked the gasket maker...

Nothing says it is a full wave ...usually the ground is floated in single phase full wave applications...but I could be wrong...

I have fixed engine oil leaks from the outside by cleaning the seams with acetone or something similar and the running a bead of clear silicone down the seam, pushing it into the seam as you go. Let it cure for a day...
Some engines are probably 4 years old and not a leak...
If you are using synthetic oil.. go back to dino oil.. synthetics are known to leak along case seams in these engines...they wick like crazy.

I run mine at 14.5 volts also...never had any battery problems and my R/R is warm but not nearly approaching hot...

Gee... that is about 1/2 the cost of a new engine!

yes.. the cooling fan actually whips an oil leak all over the engine...sounds like you have gaskets failing...
How much oil do you have in the engine? Is your valve cover vent tube clear and open?
