Got the running lights at Checker Autoparts. They are not very bright, but I think they look good and provide a little more light up front for visibility. I think I could use similar colored strips for tail lights just fine, but I have already converted all of my tail/stop/turn signals (yes every light other than the headlights) to LED.

I used a two part epoxy not sure which brand. I did end up going in and taking out the top row. The bulbs I put in to make the headlights brighter were cooking the strip and turning it brown. It still looks great with just the bottom row though!!!

Helmets?

I had a standard FF helmet then went to a Modular. Will NEVER go back to a standard one. It is to convenient. lets you take a drink at a light, put it on and take it off without taking off your sunglasses, etc.

I've been seriously slacking. The last couple of rides I have been on, I enjoyed riding so much I forgot to take video! I will try to get some next week.

helmet locks

I use the cable lock that came with my Glock. (yes the Glock is in a safe) It work great with both the FF helmet and the "dome" I think the FF is more secure because it is run through the face part, but on the dome it goes through the D rings. Not massively secure, but better than nothing.

Bohman, you do have to have low and high beam and at least one has to be on all the time while the scoot is on.

battery load

I have all LED's and run my stereo AND charge my MP3 player, GPS, and phone (not all at the same time). Have never had a problem. I have two 12v plugs installed, one just under the right side of the seat, and one inside the glove box. The glove box one is the one I use for charging. The other is mainly for using my digital voltmeter similar to this one: www.harborfreight.com/12-volt-battery-alternator-tester-66842.htmlto check battery level. I can also charge my phone from that plug while charging the GPS or MP3 at the same time, but have never had to do it. I also charge my battery through the plugs. I got a trickle charger and cut off the clips and wired it to a 12v plug. makes charging very easy. ;D

The Morph is my dream scoot. I love the style, and like Bong said, it will be cool when the US catches up!!

No, it did not come with those shocks. The ride is great. A little harsh, but that is because I lowered it, not because of the shocks. Hopefully will have body panels on tonight w/pics!!

The Vapor is what I think I may end up with. The OEM digital dash on mine keeps going out and the only vendor I have found that can get them for a decent price is Scrappydog and he is not sure if he can get any more, They are sweet and for most of our scoots would require some kind of molding with fiberglass or something but they are way worth it.

Here are pics of the new panels. Note the new grills. Also, I was not originally going for the stealth fighter look, but 4 coats of gloss black and 2 coats of flat clear give you what I got. These will be going on the scoot on Monday. s699.photobucket.com/albums/vv353/ventoscoot/Spring%202011%20make%20over/Front cowling, needs a new hood ornament and an "antisocial" decal Close up of side body work with new cooling mesh panels Full side panel Front panel under the nose of the seat again w/ mesh Should get this all on the scoot on Tuesday or so. More pics to come.
