OK, Body work; check New Paint on said body work; check Top end removed and new base gasket installed; check (I figured our what was causing my leak, there is a small, scratch in the surface of the cylinder body where it mates with the engine. This is exactly where the leaking is happening so I figure the pressure is just pushing oil out through the micro channel that is created. The only thing I could think of was to fill the scratch with JB Weld. Did it, and am letting it cure with the gasket and all put together. Hopefully this will solve my issue.) Pics to follow!!!

Puddle, I use the ebay seller "Sixity" and have had several friends use them too for LED bulbs, great prices, shipping, and service. They also have iridium plugs for really good prices too.

Sorry I have not chimed in on this as I have replaced almost my whole CVT at this point. If you are going to do that much with the CVT there are complete kits that have all of the parts for much less than buying them piece by piece Trust me from someone who spent the money then looked at the kit and said awww hell. I agree that you really need to have your scoot completely broke in before messing with performance stuff. Here is a link to a kit. It may not be the best price, but Jeremy is a great guy to deal with, he is a board sponsor and remember, he gives 10% off for being a member here and shipping is included in the price. www.enviromoto.ecrater.com/p/6055912/ncy-157qmj-150cc-gy6-performanceI spent way more than the $200 for all of my parts and didn't get the vented clutch bell and and a couple of the other goodies in it.

I would strip every piece of plastic, etc off so you can visually trace the whole harness, then start at one end, and just replace a you go. unplug then plug, etc. Maybe I am being a little simplistic, but it seams to me that would be a good way to do it. A headband mounted webcam or such recording everything you do would help if you get in a bind.

I used the NCY lowering brackets and then bought some rear shocks that allowed me to bring the rear down a total of just over 2". I also lowered the front 2 and a half or so. Works great, you just need to watch the bumps. You will need to fab another or mod your side stand. I ended up having to remove my center stand as well as the mounts for it (had to grind them off) because once the center stand was gone I couldn't lean into turns without the mounts hitting the ground.

I tried several things and found that the Uni oil works best. It is formulated for the foam and better than anything I tried.

a scooter is any two wheeled vehicle that has plastic all over it....if you put plastic on your motorcycle i would call it a scooter. ..and a scooter is ridden by either a girl, gay or an old man or old woman...but never a man with tattoo...i fall on the old man category...lol hope i answered your question right..lol Well...my first scooter was when I was 14, and I am neither gay or a girl and I have at least two tatoos that I know of sooo..... My 17 year old daughter tells me I am old though.

Steven, do you make a stretch kit for the regular 150 gy6 type bikes? That is one of the things I still want to do to mine.

a lot of folks don't run a CVT gasket at all. I have opened my CVT case up so it is really rather un-needed. I do however run a bead of gasket sealer just to cushion the parts.
