thanks for letting me know i will have to get some ahead of time so when i get the new scoot i can go ahead and weld. im thinking about some footpegs like how they come on dirt bikes that have the spring in them and they fold up when theres no pressure on them. if anybody knows any other footpegs that fold maybe without a spring, let me know.

where does it state the foot peg law? i might have to weld an extra set of pegs closer to his legs, maybe some that you can flip up when not in use.

well our long trip is postponed due to us having 4 kids. we were planning the trip this weekend and we could only pawn off 3 of the kids, last one we cannot find a babysitter. so our trip is a no go for the time being. SMALL possibility of it actually happening. will keep trying but no promises. we will still have our provisions together just in case our luck changes.

chino scoots will give you a hell of alot of problems and really they do suck...if you dont take care of them. stroke them like a kitten and they will purr. be nice to kitty and it wont scratch you. oh you get the point. i have a chino and i love it, never has let me down. just have to know how to work on it and keep a close eye on it. any vehicle with a gas/diesel motor is prone to problems. routine PM services will keep you off the side of the road. as for your petcock, look at the banners at the top of each page, they are our preferred vendors. i avoid ebay as most parts for scooters are coming from china and you will be waiting a month for a petcock to come in. i would recommend scooterelements or PM tvnacman ( john ) to see if any of them have a cheap petcock. their shipment will get to you a hell of a lot faster.

i was kidding bud but if you want to give out free stuff thats cool. i would make people pay for shipping though lol you could do cheap roller weights, i bet 90% of the docs on here have scoots that use roller weights. i dunno a free sticker? ohh i know, a 150cc race ready crate engine...oh im as clueless as you are

was just taking a look at the trike, and realized that one could easily get a very bad burn from the tail pipe. see how the pipe goes up in the back? if someone were sitting in the back and their right foot wasnt on the foot peg, it looks as if it would fall on the pipe?

yeah actually funny story, i went on a ride earlier to get a sander i loaned somebody and i caught a giant staple in my rear tire. got home pulled it out and sure enough it started loosing air. so i had to plug the tire. GREAT thing i have a tubeless tire i was grief stricken when i seen it because i thought i had a tube. glad i was wrong. i pumped it up with a bicycle pump so it didnt get alot of air. was just happy to have it back on the road then she wanted to give it a try. glad she didnt fall over lol.

if they are cheap like mine, then you will have to weigh them. the stock ones usually arent marked or if they had a marking chances are they are worn off.

OK so i decided to let my woman ride my bike to see how she felt about it. i know what your going to say, you cant get the feel of things just riding for an hour 1 time in your life. well about 30 mins into trying to teach her how to ride, and explaining different things and the DOs and DONTs, i realized i should have earlier recorded a video. i did however towards the end of her riding around shoot a short video.
