its interesting how he mentions that the scooter begins to shake and jerk only whilst the fan is running. i ponder if a wire shorting out could cause the scoot to jerk and shake? for a test could you put your scoot on its center stand, and start the motor and let it idle for a long time. i would allow it to idle long enough to where the fan kicks in, when the fan kicks in, take note of the change in engine performance and sounds, also after taking a good note, then while the fan is running, give it gas. while you are giving it throttle, raise throttle to 3k and take note, then raise it to 4k and take note, and do that untill you almost red line and bring back results. i know it wont be very accurate because there is no load on the scooter due to it being on the center stand but this is just to get a first diagnosis.

also try draining out the carb, and letting it sit over night in the STP sprocket suggested. what i would do after that is drain the fuel from tank and only put a cup or two of fresh 89 octane in the tank, then pour a little rubbing alcohol into the tank as well and try running it like that untill the scoot runs out of gas if you can get it to idle long enough. also your carb's diaphram could be eaten up from sitting so long. sprocket! why in the world didnt you suggest the valve adjustment? your slackin bro! i wonder, since that rx-200 is a 170cc motor, what type of carb does it have on it? is it the standard 24mm? and alley, holy cow 4.8 gallons of gas?! mine only holds 1.6 gallons lol

yeah they burn so good, usually when i plan on getting those i stop by the store and get some zantac 150 and eat one prior to the dawgs. some road side hotdog stands sell the new york style dawgs so every once in a while i get to have them. you can buy the sebbrett brand of the hotdogs and the red onion topping at a grocery store then you have to buy your preffered brand of sour kraut and you will have one but no matter how many times i try, i cant ever get them tasting like the road side carts make them, i swear they must add drugs to them so that people get addicted and go back for more. still want to try that chicago char dog, mmm looks tasty!

i think the under seat, center frame suspension is pretty dam neat. well i wouldnt know about how hard it is to adjust the valves on one of these but it does say this on that page: "The 260cc engine has the ability to actually adjust the valves as well so you can properly service your ride." so maybe they did make it easier. idk but that thing looks awesome i wouldnt mind having one of those on my fleet.

there is a minor caution on this post, some suggestive scenes. thought this was pretty funny...
this first one is the reason for the post, this one has a scooter in it, the other two dont but i couldnt leave them out.

those do look delectable indeed, never seen a chicago char dog. i on the other hand am a big fan of the new york style dogs. Sebbrets i believe they are called, with the hot dog being rolled on a traditional style hot dog cooker, then boiled, they come with the red onion sauce, topped with sourkraut and a line or two of mustard, doesnt get any better but could do without the near instant heart burn they provide as a bitter sweet side effect. i would love to try the recipe shown above excluding the pickle due to me being allergic to dill.

good god almighty that is an awesome scoot. great find i would say. unless your trying to preserve your 64's originality, i would say adding some sleek old fashioned style mirrors and a nice set of strip LED turning signals so it can blend with the scoots style then you can have it street legal and take it on good rides. a walk around video would be awesome! great job randy.

hey alley i do believe that the name you just bestowed upon faulty flywheel pullers is a title that will remain long after the age of scooters is replaced by hover cycles lol.
