Has anyone else had a problem getting a flywheel puller that works? (150CC GY6)

Nope, I got mine at Buggy Parts NW and it's been a workhorse. I can't imagine how many flywheels it's pulled and never stripped a thread. Rich

never had any problems with mine. Here at my store we rent it out to people who dont want to buy it and so far been using the same one for about a year.

There appears to be some undersized pullers on the marker...

i have seen different sized pullers, also universal pullers that have both sizes on them. i purchased mine from ebay. and it was the same size.....

GY6 = LUCK OF THE DRAW...... ITS LIKE A RED HEADED STEP CHILD MOTOR.

Because the samething happened to a RED HEAD so now the messed up Pullers are going to be known as RED HEADED STEP CHILD FLYWHEEL PULLERs ;D. But just the messed up ones

hey alley i do believe that the name you just bestowed upon faulty flywheel pullers is a title that will remain long after the age of scooters is replaced by hover cycles lol.

the ones i bought
both were defective from the factory,
u could see the threads were CRUSHED, the 1st 2-3-4 threads
plus like some said they seem , slightly, undersized.
but im pretty sure if they would have not been crushed threads, and screwed all the way in
they might have worked.--not sure

o btw i belong to quite a few redhead support groups
we may have to picket this site.

bought mine from scrappydog no problem here come in its own case so no f..up threads terri u can use mine

i gave up
took her to a shop
might have to pay a few $
but now i will have her in a few days
rather than waiting day-week for a puller
then matching up the magneto and waiting days-week for it.
and then AND THEN
if it turns out i was wrong about it being the stator
it will get fixed anyways

i just couldnt wait and wait and wait for parts
shes my only transport now
and like today, now i gotta waste almost 4 hours just to run and get cat food.
when i do need to go grocery shopping,
i take a bus $.50 then buy almost a months worth of food, etc
and taxi home.
but its those lil things i forget, like kitten food {they get that for being good kids and coming in when i call}

if things go right for me in the next 3 months,
ill be looking for a 2nd scoot, and keep chrissy as a backup
