Terrilee, if the puller is defective, then go ahead and return it. I'll get my money back from the distributor, no problem. The only bit I'll be out is shipping to send you another one. Sure, it's not my personal fault, but I want your scooter running! Just verify that the thread pitch will work, or it would be a waste to send another one if it's the wrong size.

Absolutely. I've invested too much of my own time and parts to see her not start!

There is a legend that the Maine Coon cat was descended from Anne Boleyn's cats. Her maids brought them over from the U.K. when she was plotting to escape. It is rumored that the house she was supposed to slip away to (if she got out of England) is actually just outside of town. I have no idea of the veracity of that though.

Hmm, not sure if the pickup from the 50 would work on a 150, haven't checked.

They should last a bit longer than that. Where did you get the exhaust? Is it cheap rubber or something a bit more substantial? Adiabatic rubber should last a bit longer.

Rather than get the scooters fixed that I bought off the other shop closing down, I decided to part out the messier ones and only fix 3 of them.

The ones from Scrappy are fine, but they are a no-name Taiwanese brand. I have had them in my scooter with no issues. I have no idea about longevity though. No direct experience (yet) on the longevity of Dr Pulley sliders but most people who have bought them claim they last longer.

They won't move as smoothly.
You should get Dr Pulley sliders. As they're already flat they tend to last longer and they have a slightly different acceleration profile. Some people claim their top end increases too. Depends on your particular setup.

Most distributors don't have up to date information readily available as to what they have at the warehouse. A drop shipper has no idea what the distrib has until they call, and the distrib doesn't know until they actually take a physical inventory. They don't invest in a decent computer system to track everything because it costs money.
I generally just get an excel spreadsheet with basic info on it from my suppliers. "MDXXXX available colors red, gree, blue, silver" and no more info.
So for the drop shippers to keep their sites updated with actual in-stock information they would have to call and bug the salesmen every day to know what they have in stock.
I'm not defending them, I'm just giving a reason why drop-shippers are always so vague when it comes to what's available.
