There are sites online where you can design your own etched acrylic with whatever design you want, so basically you can make your own backlit speedo face. Just need to upload an eps file for the design. It's actually pretty cheap, maybe $20-$30 for a 1' square custom design, and the acrylic can be of various colors.

Do you have any more? I'm thinking about grabbing a set, and better to buy from you than from some anonymous person on the Internet.

Torque sheave spring. It presses on the clutch to keep the clutch plates closed. When the plates are closed with a stronger spring, it takes more pressure on the variator (or more RPM's) to raise the belt on the variator and lower the belt in the clutch. The end result is that the transmission stays in a lower "ratio" longer. It's similar to putting in lighter weights, but different in that it causes a different acceleration profile than lighter rollers would. It also puts more stress on the belt. There are many reasons to do this as opposed to installing a variator with different roller ramps or rollers or sliders.
It's all a balancing act for the different components to the transmission.

Simplest thing is to just crack open the speedo cover and put your own markers on it. There really isn't any way to adjust the calibration of the speedometer easily. Many people just buy and install a bicycle cyclocomputer and be done with it.

Yeah, two way communication is safer and essential. Listening to tunes isn't.

What does the inside of the clutch bell look like? If the bell is good you can get a replacement clutch consisting of just the assembly you took a picture of. If not, you're better off replacing it as a unit, unless you want to upgrade the springs. Although you can buy clutch assemblies with stronger springs if you want, or kits with many different spring sets included.

It's normal to have a tiny air bubble in the air filter.

You can get some really nice chrome kick start levers that will go nicely with the CVT cover.

Personally I don't think it's safe to wear headphones while scootering. Or driving. While it is possible to turn the volume down low enough to still hear traffic noises, the temptation to turn the music up loud and rock out to the tunes is too great. Too much is missed. Personally, I don't even listen to the radio in the car.

It definitely makes bad business sense to piss off the potential customers. I agree, in that if a site requires me to sign up for it I will pass and go to the next site.
I understand the need to collect info for marketing purposes, but in the end it just upsets the customer. I'm one who practices what he preaches too. I allow someone to buy from my website without forcing them to create an account.

I didn't name names. I could not care less WHO it was. I was just making a general complaint about the SITUATION that someone would keep on annoying me and write emails about what I consider a non-issue. Other people were complaining about issues with ScootDawg and I just threw in my comment. If this was a Bash Terra Nova thread it should have it's title changed then.
Admins are just as capable of "flaming" as the rest of us. They are people too and get caught up in their emotions. I'm not naming names on this one either, just pointing out that it happens.
And yes, as a businessman I am aware of not insulting potential customers. I have not gotten involved in any personal issues between people on different boards, regardless if they are my friend or not. The only issue I have jumped in to help on is the BA threads because I do believe it works and is unfairly criticized. I won't mention any more on this board about it though as people have been clear they don't care to hear about it.
If anyone has been upset or insulted by my posts, I'm sure they would contact me rather than let any issues fester and become explosive.
