check your ground wires
then if it isnt a simple fix like that
u need to run electrical diagnostics on everything

it might be your 'new' regulator
china parts have the prob of being bad right out of the box.

and another edit:: when my magneto / stator went i tested it on Ac volts
when doing that it should be over 50v's anything under that its toast

valve stems on tires, fuel lines, tires

these things can rot, look good but be disintegrating from the inside out.

its a very nice looking scoot

i have always had a gas smell on Chrissy,
just cant trace it. been 2 yrs, and still havent found it.
gas mileage is great, so i just put up with it.

so thats all i ever called it
i did find out its a Jonway

i have NEVER seen a pic just like my scoot
i need the top plastic part thats on the handlebars
and i seen lots that MIGHT be right
but with all on line purchases
id like to be right before i order
if you need close up pics, of the broken part, i can provide it

i painted my fan cover, airfilter box & pipe
the fan cover, box all i did was ruff em up a bit
and primed (grey) and then painted silver. (kylon )
the pipe, i stripped to bare metal then painted
with plast-kote hi temp (1500 degrees) metallic
