bc Autozone or Advance auto parts should have the heli-coil kits with everything u need the tap, drill bit and a hand full of inserts .I have put in a trash can full of heli-coil inserts .I THINK the exhaust studs for a 150 cc are 6mm by 1.00 pitch.I know the 6mm is right and I think the pitch is 1.00 .Take a stud with u so they can measure the pitch .Get u a gasket like sprocket showed your new studs and 4 new nuts and your scoot should be nice and quiet .Double nut the new studs u can also put a lock washer between the double nuts .

Guys I have found a used scooter in a garage I'm interested in buying .The body looks nice best I remember I seen it last summer .It has a clean title .I was told that it was working great ,it quit running and was pushed in the garage about 9 yrs. ago and has sit there ever since .They are asking $200 .If the motor is not seized would it be worth the money .What do I need to be looking for and at .I hope to get to go look at it again tomorrow closer .I will try to get some pics of it .I have enjoyed working with all ya'll getting my red scoot running .So I thought I might jump off into another project scooter .

Alley I thought u said I wanted to stay right at the 7,000 rpm range wot .That's where I'm at .I don't understand .If I want a quicker response I need to put in a 12g roller? What about the big spring on the clutch .I do not understand what it does .When I put in new rollers should I put in a new spring .Torque Spring I think I read is what it is .

As far as the Fuel Gauge it is probably the float sensor inside the tank. The float itselft could be detirated and or taking on gas and will always register empty. OR the slider plate that holds the wire with the float is loose and does not make contact with the resistor plate. In all situations you will have to take the Float sensor out and check it. It may be that the locking push on washer is not holding it tight against the plate. And before you put it back in check it out connect it and move the float up and down a see if the gauge registers. Alleyoop This is the FULL Position: This is the EMPTY Position: Here you can see I put a Small Brass Collar with a setscrew to replace the push on washer: Alley is there any testing that I can do on the fuel gauge at the cluster before I start putting the tach back in and start putting the front of the scoot back together ?

The tach is WORKING .Ya'll want believe this one .I pulled the front cover off behind the cluster .I found the wire black and yellow .I got the dvom out I tested the wire from the connector behind the cluster all the way to the cdi wire was good .I was like O know the tach is blown .I eased out the 3 wires that was in the cluster .I took the 3 screws out of the tach its self .There I was tach in hand .I got my flashlight looked at the tach .THERE it was the problem .A HUGE spider web was in the inside of the tach .One of the real white thick webs binding the needle inside .I got my knife out and eased the longest blade threw the web .This huge spider ran out .I will clean it better with a Q-Tip and get all that web out of there .I started the scoot there it was tach WORKING.But the fuel gauge does not work either .I seen it move too when I was in there so before I put it back together I will fix that lose connection too .THANKS TO ALL

I have had the back of the instrument cluster off it a mess , but I will take it off again .Everything seems to be connected .The problem is I did not see any wires attached to the tach .There is a small opening beside the tach that has 3 wires coming out of it ,but I do not know if they are tach wires or not
