Here is some Honda scooter parts , I have ordered a CID for my 150 elite from these guys it worked great . They also have a chat feature during the day and they will help u find the part. The only issue is that I paid with PayPal and they charged me a $1 PayPal fee ,which would have been fine if they would have told me about it. www.monsterscooterparts.com/honda1.html

No trying to hi jack the thread, but when I change my oil can I use regular engine oil,or is it best to use motorcycle oil? I know motorcycles has a wet clutch ,which a scoot does not .Is that way motorcycles need the special oil because of the clutch?

The Honda runs and rides like a dream after I got the fuel shut off valve replaced ,but 2 times I have been riding it and it would stall .I check the spark its good ,fuel in the filter ,I even drained the carb bowl at the drain so I know there is fuel there .When it first happened I went ahead and put the seafoam in the tank and then put 25 miles on it .This morning I got up and road it to get the paper came back road it a couple miles to the trade day walked around there ,still running great came home and had to coast in the drive .Still had spark and fuel again .No start .This scooter has been setting in a garage for 8-9 years and it way to good not to find the little gremlin that's hiding in it giving me this trouble .I have been checking the spark with another plug .Do I need to get a adjustable park tester and test with it running and then test when it want start ? If the spark was weak the plug would be wet its not .I'm sorry for babbling .I just trying to give as much info as I can . When it would not start this morning I grabbed the Chinese scooter road it to wal-mart to get the core charge back on the Honda battery .I got back and just had to touch the starter on the Honda and it was ready to go again .I am just looking for ideals .Thanks for any help .

Well I got the Honda home .I could not take a battery or anything to test the engine with ,I got it at a whole lot less than the $200 ,so I had to take it the way it was .I got here checked the oil ,oil came rushing out ,it was mixed with gas .The fuel shut valve is bad .When I unplugged the vacuum line there was fuel there to flooding the engine real bad .I changed the oil .blocked off the vacuum line and it blasted right off .Fuel valve ,tag new battery and it will be ready .

Should I go ahead and get a new torque spring when I order the new weights? When I'm looking at the springs there is 1k,1.5k and 2k. Does that mean the scooter will start moving at 1k,1.5k or 2k rpms ,kinda like a stall torque convertor in a car ? The only reason I even took the new rollers out was to look when I had the clutch apart .Every once in a while I would hear a bump in the belt housing, when I would come to a stop .I knew the clutch pulley was binding . I took the clutch apart and the pulley had some rust in the sliding part where the pulley spreads apart .I got all the rust out and cleaned up it worked great .
