Hey guys,
Just wondering, I tried to get the turn signal relay from a few auto parts stores and they said they did not have them. I tried Auto Zone , Napa and Advanced Auto. I am wondering if you guys have any suggestions? I asked for a Turn Signal Relay for a scooter. Maybe I should not said scooter? I know I need need a 12V with a three prong connect right?
Help!! :-)

Hey,
Thanks for the great advice! One quick question though. Sorry if this is a silly question but is it a secret to making sure the tire is attached to the rim when filling it with air? I was assuming that once I filled the tire it would automatically attach itself to the rim.
I have not yet tried to fill the tire and check for leaks as of yet but I thought that I'd ask before I did.
Again, thanks for the great advice. It is greatly appreciated.

Hello All, I noticed when I uncrated my 150cc Edge it had about a 4 inch flat spot in the rear tire when it was delivered. That tire never did hold air for very long so I had the valve stem replaced. Thereafter, I noticed that the tire was a little low again.I assumed I just did not put enough air in the tire after the valve stem change. Saturday afternoon (a few days after the valve stem change) I filled the back tire again. Sunday afternoon I decided to go for a ride and discovered the back tire was all the way flat!! Geeesshhhh... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Uggg.. this scoot is starting to annoy bit a tiny bit. Well, I still love it though.

We have a lot of street/church festivals in my area. I don't have any other transportation as of now but my scooter. I decided to ride my pink 150cc scoot to one local festival last night. I was kinda nervous to take my scooter because there are a lot of motorcycle riders who attend these festivals who ride beautiful bikes. Much to my surprise a lot of them had very nice comments regarding my scooter, especially the ladies with it being pink and all. One biker even gave me his spot when he was pulling off to leave! Not sure why I thought they'd not be receptive but they treated me super nice. Kinda felt a little strange parking my pink scooter next to five super cool machines, but what they hey, it was a fun time. Motorcycles are so beautiful, I love to look at them. Well anyhooo...if any bikers read this, you are awesome! Thank You!!!

Thanks guys, I got a bit of work to do but looking forward to it. You really learn a lot when you buy a scooter. I've had scooters in the past but this one seems to need more work for a new scooter than my others.
Oh, and I did want to mention that I do research the board before asking questions. My problem is that there is so much great advice I have trouble knowing where to start. Asking questions helps me narrow it down a bit. Not sure if that makes sense to most, Just the way my old mind works, LOL!!
Awesome board and great people. It is much appreciated. KEV

Hi Again! Another question for you all. My 2011 Edge, 150cc seems to hesitate at times. Almost like it does not want to really go, but it does. I tested the battery (factory battery) and it is not really bad but it is not the best, I am saving for a new one. I did change the spark plug yesterday. (also factory) Would a somewhat weak battery make it hesitate a bit? I thought when I changed the valve stem that would help, well it did a lot but the scooter still seems to not want to take off. I am wondering if it also because it is not fully broken in yet? It has about 120 miles on it. I also may have over filled it with oil a bit. I will drain and change that today. The scooter hesitates a bit at start off, then again I'd say maybe around 35-40 mph. A few seconds after it catches, then when I come to a complete stop it hesitates again. Also seems to be burning a lot of gas. Filled it up Thursday evening and already at half tank with only about 20 miles. Also hope I did not bend the rim. I rode it a few times not realizing the rear tire was really low. Any suggestions? ?

Hello, Quick question, I have a 2011 Edge, 150cc. My signal lights will light up but they will not flash. I am wondering if the turn signal relay is bad or is it just a lose wire or something? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Attachments:

Hey Everyone,
Well, my back tire won't keep air. I checked the valve stem and it is shot. I watched the video on how to change it but I am wondering if I can pick up the stems from Walmart, Auto Zone or somewhere local? I am hoping I don't have to order from online.
I have a 2011 150cc edge.
Thanks!

Hi Again,
Yes, you are right about just getting a new set. The ones on my scooter has the flashing signal in them. I was quoted a price of $50 for a new pair. Well guess I better save and just bite the bullet.
Thanks again folks!!!

Hey All!
I think I solved the problem. The air hose had come off again. The champ was dis-functional and not holding the hose in place. I replaced the clamp with a new one.
I rode it today and got it to 50 mph. It had a tiny bit of hesitation but I guess I can chalk that up to it not being broken in yet, hopefully. :-)
One thing happened on the way home. My mirror (glass inside the mirror assembly flew out. I am hoping I don't have to order a whole new pair. Is it possible to just replace the actual mirror/glass?
Again thanks for your help. It is greatly appreciated. Love this board. :-)
