Hi Again, A quick question. Before I go on to step 2. By doing step one and finding out it is a fuel deliver problem, did this test also let me know if the valves are set correctly? Should I check them again before moving on or is this not necessary? I am about 90% sure we set the correctly. Before we adjusted the valves the scooter did start up, now it will just turn over or should I just move on to step 2. Sorry if I am over thinking this. _____________________________________________________ Ok, now we just have to find where the fuel delivery problem is. YOU HAVE DONE #1 So it is 2, 3, 4 or 5 in my CHECK FUEL DELIVERY write up. I also have spark. Before I go on to the next steps If you have SPARK, then do this: Take the VACUUM hose off the INTAKE MANIFOLD that is the piece that is BLACK and curved and holds the CARB. Squirt a little bit of gas into the connector and put the Vacuum hose back on and try to start it. It should FIRE at least once and may start and die. Hello, Just wondering, do you guys still suggest replacing the belt on a new scooter? I know some folks suggest you do and some say it is not necessary. Also, been thinking of getting a trike next year. Starting research now. Any opinions on the Ice Bear Trikes? I think they are nice, just got a few mixed reviews while searching online. Love to hear from Ice Bear Trike owners especially. Thank You! Attachments:

Hi Again,
Well...we did check for spark and it is super great, LOL!
We also checked the vacuum line off the intake manifold and the scooter did start and run for a few seconds then it shut off.
Thanks and i look forward to hearing from you and I appreciate your help.
Thanks

Hi there again,
Oh, I don't mind questions at all, please ask me anything. I am pretty new to this so asking me questions are noooooo problem at all.
I do know where the mixture screw. I did as you suggested with the mixture screw. I turned it clockwise all the way then counter clock wise 2 and a half turns with no luck. Now I can not even get the scooter to start. It does turn over. Maybe I should try adjusting the valves again? I replaced the carb so i am guessing it is not that. I also noticed just a tiny, tiny bit of gas coming form the fuel filter around the top of the hose. It is a very tiny bit. Would that cause a problem?
Again, thanks so much everyone. :-)

Hey,
Well...we did adjust the mixture screw as suggested, still a no start. I am guessing the we may need to adjust the valves again? As of now we set both at .003. Thinking I should try .004?
Thanks
