That's a quasi Yamaha Morphous clone. There is a Puma dealer in my region and from what I can tell, they are Znen designs (tell me if I am wrong). The Beyond looks nice. There's a new 50cc 2T Kymco in my neighborhood and it has that stealth fighter, angular panel look to it that is neat.

I certainly like the idea of owning a Maxiscoot, but IMO the prices are too much, when compared to motorcycles.
I sat on an Xciting 250 but didn't care for the seating position; it seemed too high and upright. I'd like to try a Tmax because it seems to have a more sporting attitude.
The MP3 150 mentioned above is probably too small. I'd go for at least the 250 and would love the 500.
My three cents.

To those in the know: any word about anything new in the pipeline? It seems like every Chinascoot mfg and dealer are selling scoots with the same ol' similar body panels that date back to 2008.

no, I don't think you'd want to trim these. There looks to be circuit pathways going to every circle.

My season starts on Saturday. Autocrossing in the paddock at Zmax Dragway, Concord, NC. I am driving my 1993 Toyota Paseo against a 1981 Ford Pinto in class E-Prepared.

Yeah, I wanted something with more LEDs than the standard LED bulbs have. People still didn't seem to notice when I wanted to make a turn.
As some of you may know. I sold that scooter and will be without a ride for a while until Uncle Sam gets his money and I can see what is leftover.

Geez Louise! I'd go buy a Spec Miata race car for that price if I wanted a fast toy.
Chinascoot is just fine by me for a two-wheeler.

That's the one. - 75 miles.
- At a dealer.
- Well under $1,000 asking price.
- Gotta beat another interested party to it.
- I am 4 hrs away.

I've found one with "test" miles only. What should I offer?
It's the other common 250 that is NOT a Reflex or Helix clone.

Technically something bigger in a scooter or a motorcycle is valid advise. Too many options out there.
Now I'm thinkin' used Kymco People 250. I saw one on CL in FL for $1800 but that is too far for me to go get.

I've got no problem with buying Chinese because I know what I am getting into. I do my own wrenching. I don't want to finance what is essentially a toy (a scooter isn't a necessity). It would be great if somebody would import more Chinese motorcycle models. There aren't a lot of small displacement bikes available in America.

I am in South Carolina, just South of Charlotte, NC.
I'll probably get a 250 from Superior. I like the Type 79. Is that a Roketa? I see the RK at the beginning of the model number.
I could go back to Carolina Fun Machines and get a CF Moto Fashion, but I don't like that boxy, less aerodynamic, 80s Helix styling. They used to advertise the Znen 250, but I only saw one actual model on one occasion. That is out of my range anyway. $2,000 is my absolute max.
I missed out on a $750 Reflex clone because I had yet to sell my 150.
I also have my eye on a 2004 Hyosung Comet 250GT sport bike for $1200.
Not too far away is a 2005 Silver Wing for $2997, but I don't want to finance.

I sold my Znen 150. Now I want something bigger, but used and cheap. Any suggestions? I'll entertain anything 2-wheeled and interesting.

Let's not forget, when you share information about yourself on Facebook (especially when you use third party apps) other people and companies can see that information. I am in the direct marketing business and email address and demographic information is valuable data companies would love to get their hands on.
