I would compare the pressure embossed on the tire sidewall to the recommended inflation pressure on your scooter's data plate, then inflate your tires to the lesser of the two. You shouldn't exceed the maximum tire inflation pressure as stated on the tire.
I know with car tires, a lower pressure equates to a softer spring rate and can provide more traction (to a point). I just noticed my scooter recommends 32/32, front/rear. I currently am running 26/32 and may add more to the front.

I know the noise was rpm dependent and rose and fell in direct correlation to the throttle position. I can't investigate further because he took the scooter home. Next time I see him, I'll ask him to bring it back.
He parked his Peace for now and is riding his new Gator (Bali) 150 that he bought a few weeks ago. He bought the new scooter before he came to me with his sick Peace and is now looking at a 250.

My 130/60-13 Kenda K413s say 33psi. Those sidewalls are so stiff, I about sweat to death mounting them on the rims.

OK, I saw your "loud clacking" thread. If and when my friend with the scooter decides to let me do it, I'll start a tear-down to investigate. He is thinking about doing a BBK too. He did tell me that he really pushes his scooters to the max often.

TA-DA! It is fixed!
I ran the engine without the variator, and the engine ran perfectly. I then cleaned out the variator, reinstalled the Dr. Pulley Sliders and carefully put the assembly on the shaft (without the backing cover). I went for test drive, and the runs great.
The problem was with the rollers/sliders were getting out of position when I put the variator on the scooter.
Now I have a 250cc scooter that I paid $300 for, and put about $300 worth of parts and misc supplies in. I feel good.

I just received my clutch from ScrappyDog today. It only took two days from Vegas to South Carolina. It is identical to the one I took off. Someone said Scrappy offers low prices because his parts are not primo. I say how primo can any of the factory parts on my Roketa be? The new clutch seems to be operating within normal parameters.
I'd give ScrappyDog an "A" on this transaction. I think it was him from whom I bought a belt for my 150cc last year on an eBay auction. I ordered a Gates but received some generic Chinese belt. I contacted him and he sent me the correct Gates belt and said for me to just keep the one he sent originally. I'd say that transaction went well too.
