the black wire into/out of the 2 pole plug of the cdi has voltage/power to it with the engine not running and key on kill, switch to "run". this is a bad thing? do i need to find a crossed wire or defective unit connected to the black wire circuit?
thanks allyoop for the guidance.

i have seen several good cdi posts what i am not sure of is the 2 pole plug on a q link i am working on. it appears to keep blowing cdi units. it is a ac cdi i believe. my parts guy says,,, cdi unplugged,,, if i get voltage to my cdi plugs with the key on, then it is a dc cdi that is needed. so an ac cdi will have no voltage to the cdi w/key on unless the engine is turning over. is it supposed to have voltage going to the black wire of the two pole plug? it connects to indicator lights in the dash and the horn's black wire and the other wire goes to a sensor coil at the back variator is the stator trashed? wiring diagrams show one wire of the 2 pole plug to ground what am i missing? thanks in advance,, joe Attachments:

Those folks do what they have to do, get by with lower incomes and expensive gas. That pushes them to make some bad safety decisions but apparently the cops let it slide. On another related note, I'd say some things I see around here would appear crazy to them. One idiot driving a Yukon or Tacoma, talking on a cell, and weaving all over the road, for example. They'd think they were rich and self absorbed. We however know they are in debt to their eyeballs, spoiled, and self absorbed. Rich true,,, so true. some people,, thank god for what freedoms we have left

did it break puttin it on or off??? electrolysis is a bitch, mixin metals in contact is one of the best reasons for using threadlocker,, it insulates the different metals from each other. blue is good enough, but any dressing that wont wash/ wear away is a good thing.
thank you for the proper definition of dot marvilee lol

th only reason its so cheap here is because of competition...so many scooters and so many shops. plus once one learns the tricks,, they ain't that hard to change. some mechanics (including myself) take longer to change over a tire,,, untill the tricks are learned. i was once that mechanic. and at $35 an hour,,,well it looks like a 35 charge for a two hour job is a deal. lol

i bet a trike is better in the snow and ice. are reverse trikes called spiders? we had a 3 wheeler ,,gy6 150cc engine. kinda looked like a dune-buggy / go cart w/2 seats side by side,, steering wheel,,, it had much wider apart front wheels,, i'm thinking 5 to 6 ft span it was tippy though in the turns. good thing it has a roll cage!! looks like one can lean into turns with that MC-21-250(LYD) in the link from cruiser.
thanks for the link, cruiser

hmmm i gotta ask ,,,, can someone direct me to the post about boric acid??? my scoot is a 2 stroke,, how do i get the acid in there? in the auto inject oil tank? i prefer burning hydrogen as a fuel. really cleans up the inside of the engine. hho = dangerous,, hydrogen=safer and waaaay cleaner than petrol. 2.5 times the btu i could go on and on.
