Thanks Cruiser. The pictures should help, as I have limited mechanical skills.

The 42S from Mr. Gasket didn't get very good on-line reviews. Most of the bad reviews were from people who used it in cars. Is it possible this unit works well with scooters, but isn't the right one for cars? Should this unit be installed by taking the original one out, or in addition to the original? Mike

I have the Roketa 250B with Linhai engine. What carburetor should I buy, and where? Is the Mikuni a good one, and which model? I was told that I could get a carburetor which is more adjustable and better than the original one for $35 - $40. Most I looked at on line were quite a bit more expensive than that. Thanks. Mike

I have a Roketa 250B with the 257cc Linhai engine. Do you know what carburetor and electric fuel pump I should get? Did you get your fuel pump at someplace like Advance Auto or O'Reilly's Auto Parts? Thanks.

There was an interesting ad in the Detroit Craig's List for a 1966 Sears scooter.

I am not a very mechanical person, so I am amazed at the ingenious ways that some contributors to the forum come up with to solve issues. I had considered ordering a larger windshield for my MC250-54B because the windshield that comes on the scooter is a little too short. This is a great idea to try. Thanks for the post.

I saw an ad a while back on craig's list (Detroit) for a place that worked on Chinese scooters. I think it was near Grand Rapids.

I have been considering a cruise control for my Roketa 250 54B and have looked at Sound Off model MCUVOO-P for $31.09 or MCVICOP for $18.36. In looking at a post re: VOG260 from Widehide, it looks like he has the MCVICOP. Both are from Amazon. What have some of you used? Attachments:

After reading some posts regarding speedometers, I used my Garmin GPS to check my fairly new Roketa 250 58B. When my scooter speedometer read 48 - 50 the GPS read 40MPH. Is there a way to adjust the scooter speedometer?
I looked at a couple of motorcycle handlebar GPS mounts on Amazon. What type of mount do some of you use?
