Hi, no luck with GS. My scooter was discontinued so I guess that is why I am having trouble finding the handlebar cover for this model.
Just wondering, is there any other model of scooter that may have the same handlebar cover as my JCL-250A?
If any help would be greatly appreciated. :-)
Thanks in advance

Hi All,
Just wondering, does anyone know where I can order a handbar cover for my JCL 250A? I've searched but can't seem to be able to find one.
Thanks Tonya

Hey all, I forgot to mention, I did strip one of the three screws while trying to remove it from the carb cover. I hope the screw is not hard to find. It was suggested to me to tap the screw a few times before trying to unscrew it but that did not work. I guess with it being a new scooter, maybe they put something on the screws to make them extra hard to remove?
Does anyone have any suggestions as how to NOT strip screws? I did not use a power drill.
Well, thanks in advance everyone!

Hey Guys & Gals! I just wanted to let you all know that I got the carburetor off! Go me! I was really nervous about taking on this project but it seems to be going well. I am wondering if anyone can recommend a really good carburetor cleaner? I know I have to soak the jets, I think overnight is that correct? Well thanks a bunch all. Tonya

Thanks for the video and the advice! I am such a visual person, especially when it comes to things like this. Well, I may have to wait until Saturday to start this project. I guess I am at that time when my Cricket Broadband slows way down. I guess I went over my usage allotment, so I can't play videos right now but I will let you all know how it goes! :-)

Hello All, Almost riding season here in Wisconsin, I hope! LOL!! Well, here is my question. I have a 2010, 50cc Renegade I ordered from Green Earth Scooters. I ordered it in September, a PDI was done and I ran it after that about 20 minutes before it sat all Winter inside. Well, now I can get the scooter to start but then it will cut off in less then a minute or when I rev it. I tried the idle screw, checked the battery, and all the hoses. I am hoping it is not a carb problem. The scooter only has about 4 miles, could it be a carb problem/fuel problem already? I should have drained the gas or added sea-foam but I did not. Any suggestions? Thanks Tonya Attachments:

Hello Everyone, Just a quick question. I ordered a 50cc scooter and the centerstand was not installed. That darn spring is very strong and I can't seem to get it on. I'm a lady so I guess I am just not strong enough. I am wondering, is it normal for the centerstand not to be installed? Great company I ordered from, so I don't want to mention the name but just wondering if this is somewhat normal? I did not think so, but maybe I am wrong. Wishing Everyone a Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!! Tonya

Well, I live in Wisconsin and it is almost time to store the scooter for the winter. Quick question. I have almost a full tank of gas in my jcl 250cc. Is it best to drain the gas out if I want to store it inside for the winter? If I should not drain the gas is there something I should do to make sure that the gas and carb is still ok come spring. Also, don't want to blow up lol! Any suggestions? No garage as of now to store it outside.
Thanks
Tonya

Sent them a more than a few emails over the last few months. Never a response back. I heard great things about the company, but I am kinda nervous about ordering from them now. Any thoughts?
Thanks Tonya

Hello, Just wondering if you guys know where I could find new panels for the 250cc JCL? It is also a 2007 silver model. If not, could you guys recommend a good plastic repair kit for a beginner? Thanks so much. Tonya

Is this still necessary to do or did manufacturers upgrade? See Below In the battery compartment, there will be a small red wire with an inline 15 or 20amp fuse. This is a glass fuse in the cheapest possible container. This is must to replace! Auto Zone has a Blade Fuse replacement for about $5 and it's well worth the money! I can't tell you how many people get left out on the road with a dead scooter because of this fuse Attachments:

Hi All, I just wanted to again thank everyone for the super great advice. I have not been on busy streets yet, but I am a whole lot better than I was a week ago! I think I am doing a lot better with starting from a complete stop but I think I need more practice with left turns from a complete stop. I guess now all it is to it is to keep practicing. I am going to try and ride a busy street this weekend. Oh, and thanks for the kinds words, Leo. Starting from a stop with with a little more power does help a lot! Thanks everyone!!!
