Because if the picture of the 150cc IS a 150cc(152QMI / 157QMJ), it has all the right bolt holes. Going to get my measurements tomorrow for the shaft and mount to mount

Very true, I guess it kinda feels like a pirate and his ship! hahaha Do you know if the 150 will bolt up to the 50 frame? Its the QMB139 engine now and I'm guessing the short case 150 would be what I'm looking for...
There is a decent scooter shop in town too(Santa Rosa Beach, FL) called California Cycles. They're also prolly getting ready to get rid of this years scooters, bet I could get one for under 800...

Well the highway's speed limit is actually 55, but I wanted 10mph play room hahaha Thats a little bit of a bummer cause I don't think a 250cc will fit on my 50s frame. I think if I swap for a 150, and upgrade everything, number one I think Ill make a better wire harness and GROUND, better exhaust and intake, and jet, HOPEFULLY I can tap 60 or at least 55-58...

I am wondering if the 83cc BBK is worth the work? I currently have the 50cc QMB139(Wildfire WFH50-S2) and I either want to 150cc swap or slap a BBK on my 50. I can reach 45MPH on my 50 on flat ground, and there's a 65MPH highway by my house, so I would like to get it there.
If anybody hass done a BBK on my engine, Let me know some spex PLZ thanks in advance!

I kept forgetting my headphones and was thinking about a Motorcycle stereo, but the "Bullet" Speakers seem a little cheap, and I didn't think they would be loud enough to hear over the scooter... I had both the Amp and Speakers brand new in the box and didn't have any other use for them. As it turns out, the speakers fit with very little modification, I cut the back of the Glove Box out. I also put some insulation behind the speakers so they would have a "Fuller" sound. I'm also gonna pick up a bondo or fiberglass kit and make a breast plate for in-between the speakers.

I think I have found my problem, bad ground around the bulb on the tail light. The turn signals use the same wire as ground.

I think I have solved this problem. The back tail-light is on the same wire, GRN, it had a terrible ground around the bulb. I used a flat Terminal Crimp and made an awesome connection.
If anyone is wondering, Turn Signals are the only thing besides the starter, that will NOT run on engine power only! ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOU HAVE GOOD GROUND!

Does it have a Vacuum Petcock? If so, pull really hard on the vac side, and make sure it is opening up fully. I don't have any experience with those Vac pumps, my 50 is gravity fed. Good Luck!

My OEM FLASHER recently went out and started buzzing, and vibrating. Its a THREE PRONG <GREY><BLK.><DARKGREEN>
I purchased a TWO PRONG Flasher and started to wire it in. I stopped to check my voltages with a meter and I found that on the DARK GREEN wire, I got crazy readings, All over the place, so I'm thinking its grounded some where in the circuit. ANY IDEAS?? THANKS IN ADVANCE
P.S. I am running on ENGINE ONLY, NO BATTERY at the moment. I'm not sure that matters, as EVERYTHING else works without it, EXCEPT my starter...

I picked up a flasher also, but I went cheap and get a 2 terminal, and can't get a 12volt reading on any of the 3 wires, instead, I am getting about 6.5volts, BUT I was wondering if the turn signals require a 12volt source from the battery. Everything else(Brake light, headlight-high and low, Horn) works on engine only. So my guess would be the Starter and Turn Signals run on battery?

As far as the Valves if it is running as good as you say LEAVE GOOD ENOUGH ALONE. Getting to 40 on a 50 most have to put in at least a 72cc bbk or better. Alleyoop I will check with GPS on my phone, BUT if the speedo on this thing is right, Ill take a picture and show ya, it stops at 40MPH, and I'm easily an inch after that... I CANNOT Believe this thing is a 50cc...

Thats what I figured. Thank you so much Alley, you have been an amazing help! Now I'm looking at the 150cc complete engine and thinking about a swap, I would love to be able to jump on the local highway here. I think this one \/ www.scootercatalog.com/150ccengine.htmlshould bolt right up, right? Do you think this would be the best route? Or a BBK? THANKS! -----PS----- BTW, I looked at the manual for my WFH50-S2, and it calls for the valve measurement to be 006 for INTAKE and 008 for EXHAUST. Should I set them to that? THANKS Alley

I successfully adjusted the valves to .005, it was confusing at first, in the video, the guy says he is tuning his to .05, lol so I thought that would have been a pretty big gap haha
Before I adjusted the valves, I was lucky to get up to 25mph, I figured that was all I was gonna get out of 50cc.
AFTER I adjusted the valves, I peg the Speedo at an inch past 40MPH! Blew my mind! So now I am fixing all the smaller things, Do you have any Idea what the small ROUND, BLACK, thing that is right behind the left handle bar, I BELIEVE, its a flasher for the turn signals, but anyway I replaced the headlight and noticed it was REALLY buzzing and making a racket, So I disconnected it from the harness, it has three wires coming out of it, GRN BLK GRY???
