I will try to push the cylinders back. seems like they are stuck.. And as far as upgrading while breaking in the new engine.. I kind of had no choice.. My old Air Filter would NOT go on to the carb of the new engine I put in.. When it was mounted to the case it was on an angle that just would not fit.. It was getting frustrating so I decided just to go with the POD filter.. fit on nice and good.. So that is why I changed to that.. Believe me how crapty this new engine is and im not even sure if its 150cc because of who I got it from.. Im trying everything just to make this scooter run..
IS THERE ANY WAY TO DETERMINE THE CC'S OF AN ENGINE?? Other then looking on the engine.. no where on this engine does it show the cc's.. and its a chinese piece of crap..

Yes I oiled the filter.. I took off the brake and the wheel spins so its the brakes and NO I have DISC brakes. So not sure how to adjust them. They were tight on the rotor causing the wheel not to spin.. And right now have it apart cause im changing out the speedometer cable as well. after all this money I put into this friggin scooter I could bought a new one.. but have to admit the projects are a little fun.. so can't wait to ride it.

It doesn't seem to run poorly to be honest.. I ran pretty good.. But of course with this scooter when one thing is fixed another thing needs to be addressed.. swear this scooter is possessed. Ok. next thing. My rear tire barely moves. Its either on too tight or something.. I think the brakes are too tight and not really sure how to adjust the brakes to loosen them a little. UGGGG
So not sure If I should rejet or not for now.. im not going too.. I have to work in the wheel (AGAIN) to see why its not spinning freely..

Ok.. Let me see if I can address everyone..
Bong.. Yes I got a UNI Filter from Cycle Gear. Its a POD filter and not like the one I had on there
I haven't gone WOT yet since im breaking in the engine.. I have been trying to keep it around 25-30mph while test driving.. I can't really tell my speed since my speedometer is not working.
Now this is where I kind of get confused. How do I know if its running LEAN OR RICH?? I have read some of the posts here but haven't kind of understood it.. It runs pretty good I guess from what I can tell. Maybe on my next ride I will record it from my phone and you can hopefully hear the engine..

The place where I bought the air filter said I didn't have to change anything.. But I read on here that I should upgrade some things on the Carb.. Any suggestions on what I need to do?? Air filter is on, took for a test drive and it rode nice.. So not sure if I need to change anything

not even a debate Alley.. Cause what you wrote is EXACTLY what happened to me.. Was told they had it.. Charged the same day. And I have RECORDS to prove it and then played the waiting game.. It was a blessing that the order got canceled.. found one locally for half the price..

Ok... Now I get to defend my self... since I guess we can actually spew a bunch of stuff online. Since I NEVER SPOKE TO A WOMAN ON THE PHONE UNLESS WILL IS A WOMAN that statement is so far from being true.. So lets do this. You said my credit card would not process.. How about we do some proof of things.. I will post the transaction that shows when I ordered it and the same day the credit card was charged which was that same afternoon.. And since I needed a specific Wheel as we discussed and you said OH YEAH WE CARRY EVERYTHING... ITS NO PROBLEM WILL HAVE IT RIGHT OUT TO YOU.. Then I get a call from a company that you supposedly use and speak to GARY and he tells me that THEY DON'T HAVE THAT WHEEL.. so Yeah your a LIAR.. You charged me and DIDNT EVEN HAVE THE WHEEL.. And when I tried to speak to you on the phone about Gary calling me you started to scream at me.. so much I had to move the phone away from my head.. Real nice way to treat a PAID customer.. Since you had my money and I HAD NO PRODUCT I would consider that paid.. Then when I requested a tracking number for the shipment for me to be home.. You started with all the excuses.. They shouldn't of called you.. We dont have the wheel.. We are trying to get the wheel.. If that is the case then you should of NOT charged me to you were sure that you were able to get the wheel. And I have emails just like you do.. So remind me when again I called and spoke to a WOMAN??? In my opinion.. Your a liar .. You took the money without even having the product.. I did get my refund after THREE weeks of trying to get an order completed.. IF you didnt have the product you shouldn't of tried to sell it.. I don't like the way you handled the situation and feel that your company is scammers.. Its my opinion.. and im entitled to that.. But if your gonna tell what happened.. At least be honest about it.. Tell them I spoke to WILL and got yelled at cause of the company calling me out of the blue.. Be honest. That's all..

I really thought about doing this, since my scooter is a touring scooter and thought about one day upgrading it.. but then I figured with all that work I might as well just sell my scooter and buy a 250cc..

Alley.. Im guessing that is what may be the cause... Don't forget when I changed out the engines I had drained the gas tank most of the way down.. It may have gotten stuck.. Also my speedometer is NOT digital.. its just the regular kind like in a car..
I will check the speedometer wiring on the front wheel. Maybe when I had the front off it knocked the wire loose cause the speedometer was working the first time I rode it..

Would a bad Regulator/rectifier cause the gas gauge, speedometer and tripodometer to not work?? I have checked all the wiring and can't find a thing wrong.. I don't know they are not working.. Its back to the beginning..
Sprocket.. I had to have enough to run a radio since the scooter came with a radio.. But I have the radio disconnected right now..

Stator switched out with no problem.. There was NO issues with the swap. I think there is an issue with the rectifier or something since the gauges don't work.. I have check wires out the wasue and they seem to be ok.. No, I bought the Engine from Tmotorsports.. they are a rip off.. But its in now and I have to deal with it. It just getting the little things done.. I had everything off before and well seems like i have to do it again.. like I said it was nice to ride a couple of times but I have to fix the other things..

Yeah it is pretty big.. think the weight is like 300lbs.. I has the 250 body with the 150 engine.. Could someday turn it into a 250 it has the setup for it.. but who knows about that..
Well this is going to be a short lived done.. I have to take it apart again.. The ride sounds terrible. Sounds rough.. But I have to find out why my GAS GAUGE, SPEEDOMETER and TRIPODOMETER is not working.. Dont know if its a short or the rectifier. If it is the rectifier. I have to take the whole side off just to get to it.. And I dont know if there is an air leak. I think there is its loud and rough.. I need a exhaust gasket and have to check other things. It was fun to ride for a couple of days, but these things need to be fixed before anything.

That is the hardest thing right now is to be patient.. All the roads where I am the speedlimit is 50.. So I have to just ride it around my complex and at night when I can just cruise down the quiet roads..
Yes that is an antenna.. It has a radio, but I took it out.. You couldn't hear it.. (the speakers stunk). And as for that glove box.. Its not the whole thing.. Its acutally small that is where my gas tank is.. And there a set up for a 250cc engine if I wanted to convert to 250cc.
I have to keep telling myself this is a new engine and I have to baby it.. I heard Sentry was better then seafoam, but don't know where to buy the stuff. Can you get seafoam at an auto store?? I will be totally happy when everything is working right.. I have to find out how to control the air filter. And now the valves and whatever else I have to do..
The block under the side of the case is BLANK.. they didn't put anything there I have to look around on the engine to see if there is anything there.. Just as long as it runs good and I can use it to go places around here I will be happy.. Its just the roads here have high speed limits.. (45-65 mph)...

This engine is from Tmotorsports... and there is NOTHING on the engine.. LIke on my old engine it said the size.. this one doesnt its blank.. They claim that it shows 149.9 on the piston.. So who knows.. I don't have the foggiest when it comes to the valves or anything like that.. believe me .. I have been learning as im going.. and I have learned a lot thanks to the people on here.. So its just another learning method.. after a break in period on the new engine, I think I am going to change the air filter to the unifilter.. But when it comes to all the adjustments.. im lost..
Im looking at some pictures on here and I don't think I connected my air filter correctly.. I have hoses connected to it. and that spring like think I think I have dangling.. Maybe im restricting the air some where.. what is the best way to hook up the air filter..

2 miles.. BRAND new engine it in.. I read a lot about the valves and up jetting and such.. Only thing is. Not real sure on how to do all of that.. And I guess if it comes down to that.. I will be taking her apart again and starting over.. Like I said. Since its got 2 mile on it I may just sell it.. But still have to get the Gas Gauge and Speedodometer working.. I can't find the short and why they are not working...
