The fix is to replace it. Trust me, it wasn't very accurate to begin with. Mine gave me so much trouble and finally it just quit working.

Mount one of those expandable holders for bicycles under the front seat lip. It's between your legs, out of the wind, and expands to hold almost any size drink.

That's a HUGE amount of gas for a 150. I have a 125 on my 250cc and I still have to dial it back a bit. I'd change to a 110 or somewhere in that area.
