Oh my gosh. I may be older but I am not dead! Hummmmmmn, I think we women should organize a trip to newyork this summer to meet this club. Did you see the vintage pics of Charleton Heston on a bike in there. When I was a teenager, I though he was the cats meow.

now, those women can ride. I wonder if I can learn to ride like that? notice how all their bikes were in exact sync the whole ride. lol. This ad has inspired me to work on my bike moves. As long as Fred will stay on the bottom and I can dance on the top, by george, I think I can, I think I can, I think I can.
I wouldn't mind being shaped like any of them either. lol.

Guys, lets face it. It is the supple and demand with a large greed factor. Gas is something we all have to have to the oil companies stick it to us. It really has nothing to do with libia or any thing else. That is just their excuse. The CEO/s of gas companies make multimillions a year in income, bonuses and stock. And by multimillions I am talking 10 million or more total. Who needs an income that high? Really, gas prices are the fleecing of the world. Look what the middle east charges per barrel when exporting to england, america, etc. And their own people can buy gas in their country for 50 cents a gallon or less. Look at British Petroleums CEO's total income (including salary, bonuses, and stock) and you will see what I mean. We need it, they stick it to us. It is that simple. Even taking away the taxes, we are still paying through the nose and so are other countries (except for oil producing middle east ) It is nothing more than GREED, GREED, GREED.

Yep, I settled for Fred. Actually, I think thats kinda cute for a scoot. Fred and I intend to spend a lot of time together and cover a lot of miles. I told Fred that I insisted that I was the one always on top (I can't believe I wrote that, you guys must be getting to me). Any way, Fred is a nice name even for the royal blue until I get it painted pink. I will not be painting it in March because between my van, 150 scoot, and new scoot, all of which need plate registration and tax in March, I estimate I will be turning over about 450.00dollars to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. Ouch, March is an expensive month. And Ohio does it on your birthday. What a nice present!

fairweasel, sign up at your local bmv and take the safety course. It only costs 25 dollars, you get your motorcycle endorsement on your license and you can immediately ride the highways and night etc. The only thing that you have to do for the first year is wear a helmet and I will always do that anyway.
Where are you in Ohio? I'm in Grove City which is just southwest of Columbus.
I take the back roads. I could take 270 and 70 to my little part time job for only 10 miles if I wanted to shorten the trip but I prefer the back roads. I don't have the courage to go highway. But I keep telling myself, i will try it this summer. I travel the interstate route all winter in my van so why not try it. The only thing I am worried about is hitting a pot hole at that rate of speed. Tires are 13 inches.
I want to take a trip this summer down to Buloxi, mississippi to see my son and his wife and my grandkids but I would go the back roads which would end up taking a week and I am kind of reluctant to do it unless I could find another person on a scoot or bike to go with me. Kind of afraid to do it by myself.

nice. I recognised the pics of the PA turnpike. It looks the same as it did 50 years ago (it needed repair and overhaul way back then and its still the same now. ;D Are the Howard Johnsons resturants still scattered along the pike?

wow, nice. You know, driving on the left side makes a lot more sense to me. Just watching the video, and getting the perspective of drivng on the left- I found it looked easier and more natural. England and france and italy, new zealand etc. so many countries drive on the left. So why did we, in the good old us of a decide to reverse the whole process. Anyone know? I did find myself holding my breath as you went around some of those curves. Hey kwiki scoot, I think all of us (on this site) ought to save our money for one year, come half way around the world as a group, rent scoots and take a ride and a vacation with you. rofl Now here is a most serious question? Do your islands have enough scoots for us to rent? ;D I think we should all stay for 2 weeks till quikiscoot is sick of us. (just joking)
