"Jonway" = scoter manufacturer and scooter parts manufacturer and distributer. Have 5 scooters from 50cc to 250cc all made in different Chinese factories, all have different distributers, one from the Jonway warehouse in Dallas but branded JCL.
Every single one of these scooters have some or all "Jonway" parts on them. Easy to see and find out, their headlight lens have the word and part number clearly on the lens. Want to hear a good one, my 50cc has Jonway/Italia on the headlight lens and Tripple CCC on the tail light lens, body parts from 3 others, the Chinese aren't picky on the assembly line, if it fits, it is built.
Fellow in Conway sells Jonway scooters branded and built by Jonway I'd bet money you can find a Tao-Tao with Jonway parts but haven't seen it myself, but I haven't looked. They build a good scooter.

Here's another thing to consider? When routing hoses/pipes from the exhaust you will essentially throttle the engine down with additional exhaust pressure. So can one get enough air along with the fuel to keep the engine running at a peak performance? In the summer time the engine will run a lot hotter.
A person might consider a 11-pole stator upgrade with a small heating coil to keep a box warm? Even some 1157 12volt car bulbs with both the brake and tail light filaments on at the same time will create considerable heat while not overloading a 11-pole stator.
One could make a custom box with aluminum foil backed insulating foam that would stay very warm with only two or three bulbs going.

Some one needs to tell proboards about fixing stuff that works right.(as in the old software) Also all the posts but one here would have been gone had there been a delete button to get rid of stuff that don't work right. One can delete posts just got to learn how? On the right top part of the posting page there is a gear icon symbol
with a drop down arrow. Click on the arrow and a pop up comes up with several options including "delete post".

The old image tags of the former software V4 won't work. [img-] [/img-]. I put a hyphen in so they would show up.
Two ways to put a photo on. One can't be used now and it's the old attachment way directly from your own computer. PB has put a size limit on what a forum can use, why? The attachment function downloads to their server, want more storage then pay for it, that simple or Rich can comb through hundreds of posts and delete old photos, not very likely he would do that to get back under the storage limit.
Second is the easy way, can't do this on the Quick Reply unless you know the HTML image codes but on the regular Reply screen just click on the images box in the icon menu and insert a "direct" URL of the image. The image icon is this:
Example of a direct URL image link:
i905.photobucket.com/albums/ac258/bashan_2010/Avatars/Temo_11.png
The software supports, jpg. png. gif. and two or three more. When clicking on the image icon a pop up appears with a place to insert the url and it will have the start of the URL already there as in http://. Either erase it with the X or only paste your URL without the beginning http://.
BTW when you go to that site it clearly says, this site uses cookies, to use it correctly you must accept their cookie. Links will be broken from their end should you not accept them?

Now i'm jealous JR you lucky slob,,,,, Bike was a 52 Schwinn for my 6th birthday and the scooter is a two speed 52 Eagle, learned shifting at 6 and on my grandpa's farm I also drove a 49 Willy's Jeep truck when getting hay in the barn in the summer. Kids back then were told jump in and let's go while the older boys and adults loaded the truck down. By the time I was 12 I could drive anything.
But here is a model of the Eagle that if you run into is rare and very valuable:
This is the Model 762 Springer Eagle with centrifugal clutch and no transmission introduced in April, 1952. This was to be an economy model and came less the rack above the rear fender. Production lasted only about one year. Very rare.
We have a big car show in June on top of the mountain: www.motaa.com/auto_shows%2013.htm
More and more motorcycles and old scooters are showing up, people swap, buy, look for parts and they have a auction too. I live 10 minutes from this and in 2012 a guy from Ft. Smith had one on display, it wasn't in mint condition but would run. It auctioned for $7,300.
The old Allstate scooters by Sears were just rebranded machines from 48 to 54 if I remember right they were just plain Jane Cushmans, Sears didn't build any motorized scooter. They also were made by Puch and some were good machines, some were junk:
cybermotorcycle.com/euro/brands/sears_allstate_troyce.htm
Cushman never did build a eagle series copy for Sears. I'm sure when Sears goes under soon and they will then old Allstates will go up in value. Most people who bought Sears products back then was because one if they had good credit could pay $5 a month for just about anything Sears sold. That's why they were always branded as "the working man's store".
Who sold this one?

My turn, officially 4" at my house. High today a blazing 37F, tomorrow, rain and 42F but Monday more snow predicted, Tuesday freezing rain? Lost power this past Monday for 7 hours, sure was glad to have the generator, she's a good one and can run the whole house with no difficulty including TV, central heat and other things.
These come with several engines but mine has the 17HP Kawasaki, nice set up.

Front door view of my house today, this is a old picture but same results.

Glad to see things working out between Rich and JR. IMO both are good people. There has been things said on both sides I am sure they both wish had not been said in open. Of course Luke once again has to try and stir the pot. I think Luke needs to go back in his 2000 plus threads and read what he has said personally about others. Doesn't attack persons involved my A$$. What a short memory he must have. I would love to see him try and handle KZ and his disciples, he can't even handle himself! Just my 2 cents worth.

Special thanks to Alley and to TVnACman for mediation in this matter even though they're freezing their tail off now.
Time for forget the past and move forward in a way that everyone gets along and have a good time when this miserable weather does let up and we can get on our scoots and ride.
Thanks to Rich for joining in this agreement also, sometimes two people with hard heads have to figure out how to drop the hammer and shake hands.
