AND? I was simply giving props. If you have some how managed to take offense to a simple statement I will not apologize. I was giving someone respect for a possible solution that not everyone would have thought of. People were on this particular forum seem to get angerd quickly. Wonder why that is? Cyborg, again no offense was intended, and I don't get what youre angered about.

Personally, I believe the quality of MOST Chinese scoots has improved. Another personal opinion, if the 150 and the 50 are that similar in price, I would get the 150. But I also have y MC endorsement..

The screw that's holding the points is bottoming in the hole and you think your tightening on the points plate and you're not,, put a washer under the hold down screws head and the problem goes away I had an old Homelite chainsaw that this happened to me with. Drove me nuts. Two seasons I fought with that sonuva biscuit. Only by accident I figured it out. I dropped the set screw and had to use a different one from my "xtras" bin. Still runs fine.

I was able to contact a vendor in England who sells the proper 38 MM carb. He sent me a link to his USA sales on Ebay. The carb is 16 bucks and bolts right up. He says it is for the NC and NA 50 Express and has had many happy customers. He!! Yeah man!!! Good going. Keep us postrd on your progress.

This has been fun, but I am not going to be a substitute for a certain member here for you to argue with. My experience with you has shown me that you enjoy arguing, and...get this "Snit Talking". These forums exist to help people with scooter problmes and as a place for people all over the world to come together to enjoy the company of other people that share a general interest. You mentioned that a certain member would Continuously talk you down and CLAIM you didn't know what you were talking about. I honestly think you miss the confrontational environment that the two of you shared. I'm not going to contribute any further into your games. Sorry. A member asked a question, I gave him MY opinion, and you instantly decided to Alley me. Nope I'm done with this thread, and I am done talking to you. Good day and God Bless.

I do not have a flipping clue who Neil nor Bob is. Brent is 90's name. He has crap loads of great videos posted on you tube dealing in every aspect of two stroke scoot engines. From 49cc stockers to built and stroked 100+cc beasts. I can't figure what you are looking at, but with what I have seen from 90, I will believe him over nearly anyone on any of these forums when it comes to scoter engines. Two stroke I have personal experience in following his instructions and tips, and because of that I have a Mina based Beamer that runs a gps verified 48mph. Would do better if I had money for upgears. You believe what you believe, but I believe in what I have seen, and experienced. For all I know the dang 139's could be bored to 100+ and be perfectly fine on a stock crank. I wouldn't dream of pushing one that far but hey, what do I know. Peace

My MC-54-250B sits the rear tire about 1 1/2 - 2 inches off the ground too. I was wondering something, did all of these come with the 13 inch wheels? I ask because at the local power sports shop, they have a bike like mine, but it's on 12's not 13's When that one is on the center stand, it is easily 2-3 inches off the ground. Enough clearance between two rw and ground my son's steel toe boot will fit under the tire up to the laces. I haven liked at the build tag yet, but the P.S. guy swears teh are stock for that bike. It's a MC-54-250B as well...just wondering. Nice job with that center stand!

Okay, that good news, but 13mm longer... Idk if the belt would ride too high or not. I may just find out. So long as the belt is a Power link.

And another point you seem to have glazed over, you mentioned in your Anti-90 post, that people were growing these 50-52mm kits on high mileage engines with used cranks etc.,well the first post mentions that the scooter in question is smoking probably due to rings but it's still being driven, how good do u belive THAT crank is going to handle that large bore/piston?

Ohhhhhkaaaayyy..... Look, I simply stated y firm beliefs tonthe OP, then performes a real quick search. I didn't read the threads any further than the search results. Any half assed mechanic knows lapping valves is an antiquated practice and it's easier I machine eboth valve and head then let the motion and combustion process do the rest. However , most folks also do not have access to a lathe, CNC etc. and just attempt to do what they can wih what they have. Nothing g personal, but I have spoken to 90 and read more of his thread and watched more videos done by him than any other scooter guy. I don own a puny 4t fiddy. However, the dude is spot on and 110% about two strokes. That said, I believe most every bit of his tech writings on these bikes. Again, I don't and won't own a 139qmb based scoot. I did however ow. A 1e40 based screamer. If I want to go fast, I will either jump on a two stroke, OR, spend the same am not that mor folks spend upgrading a 139 to just buy a good used 150cc. 90GTvert and his forum have been and continue to be a wealth of valuable information. It's like EVERY forum, you read through, then separate the bullsh!t from ignorant a$$ pokes from the correct information. No forum is gonna hold all truths and no bull$h!t.
