yeah I told them it might be the tires because the back tire was flat for the 4 years it sat and we filled it back up but it could be warped and I adjusted the throttle cable a little and it does idle know but the fuel air screw is on the driver side of the scooter on the carb right a little flat head.

The petcock is not hard to get to at all I just reach up under the back plastic and there it is. IT's all there so I'm not changing it just wondered what the rough riding was all about. The scooter doesn't idle either almost does but then dies but it runs so good I'd hate to mess with it anymore. I also changed the gear oil at the rear.

After the whole wiring issue I had the petcock issue, the one I order that was supposedly the same thread size was not. Was supposed to be 16mm but was 14mm so I found a 5/8 to 1/2 inch reducer that I was able to make work with a file and Teflon tape, pinched off the useless vaccum line, changed the oil had about 1/2 a quart of gas in with it. Couple kicks it fired right up and runs beautifully, drove it up the road and it seemed to ride rocky, I don't know how else to put it because it wasn't vibrating just seamed off. perhaps maybe you could say it had a slight constant bump while it rolled. Tires both have air the brakes aren't holding up is there anything else that could really mess with the rolling part, would motor mounts be a cause of anything.

found a petcock for a Honda aero 50 scooter that is a replacement petcock which is gravity fed but I can't seem to find out if the nut size is the same should be 16mm x 1.5mm for my scooter, they look the same even the original looks identical.

I can figure that out i was just making sure that the petcock was bad id like a gravity feed better might go with that. Cuz when i tested to see if it worked i sucked on tge vaccum and got a mouthful of gas, gas did come out of the main one but still dripping out the vaccum.

Lots of gas out of the back of the carb and plugs completely soaked. I cleaned the carb and adjusted the floats. Noticed when i put the fuel petcock in that gas was dripping from the vaccum line. And after the scooter sits a while its empty does that mean the petcock is bad and all the gas is dripping into the intake.

Think maybe the floats might be letting too much gas in and overfilling the carb.

When i took the air cleaner off gas was drippng out the back. Take the plug out soaking wet turn the motor over gas blows ot the cylinder way too much gas.

Haha put the wiring in last. Got it running but it kept wanting to die i figured id put he air filter on today and see if that was why it kept wanting to die. Now i cant get it to start keeps flooding out gas pouring out the back of the carb. Any chance the auto choke is sticking.

So after all the testing and troubleshooting and prolonged agony i figured screw it and put the plug in and put two stroke ges in i know bad but thats all i had and was at wits end but kicked the hell out of it and fired right up. O thank god now i gotta put the old wiring back in and hook the lights up and hope it still works. And the power was 28 at ignition coil
